Also about half way down the mooring where you were fishing there is an overflow from the pond. The oxygen and bubbles attract plenty of fish and you get some absolutely enormous perch around it
Lovely video 👍 First visit to the Norfolk broads for me was a family trip and ended up at a nature reserve all boarded out. Got to watch an otter munch away on a perch 😂. Later that week we walked around Norwich city centre and crossed the river there three or four times and saw some belting pike and big shoals of perch
@@bhfishing8572 I hope so we have a boat booked so hope to do plenty of exploring, I'm a lure fishermen at heart but I will be taking a couple of bait set ups any pointers would be much appreciated .. like in your opinion what works better for the broads ledgered deadbait or floated? Live baits may be tricky with the mrs about lol.
@@kanny5175 lures always work all year round but if you want to sit back and chill for s bit suspended deads work well hooked through the dorsal fin ,I've got a couple other broards pike videos in the winter if your interested 😁
Beauty Norfolk Broad went there Pike fishing few time as myself thought Pike fishing allowing from October 1st to March 31st as I see you fishing in summer?
Pike fishing Is allowed all year and for the full river season some only choose to do it during the winter months but I personally fish for them all year round I just change tactics and get them back in the water that bit faster when its warm , thanks for watching 😁🎣
Sorry I’m not a fan of summer piking, there’s plenty of other predators to target in the summer months, wish the broads authority’s would enforce October 1st then they wouldn’t have already taken a hammering by the holiday boating brigade before I get there in October..
Nice to see some proper fish handling buddy👍 well done really enjoyed that.
Really good video mate, 👍 great to see the youngsters involved and getting stuck with the fish at a young age.
Thanks , she loves coming along and she now informs me that pike are her favourite species 🤣
BH Fishing good girl 👍👍 she has a good mentor for the future
Thanks ! She will be one to watch out for she is already catching some cracking fish!
