- So after around 10 weeks of this one sitting on my phone unedited I've finally moved house and found time to get it sorted !
It's easy to get complacent using the 'top' brands so in this one I decided to challenge myself to an hour on the local with 3 of the cheapest Chinese baits I could find to give them a fair review and see just how well they could perform.... I was pleasantly surprised!

Dunno why people turn there nose up at Chinese angling stuff as these guys are the pros at fishing not just pros but these lures are what feed the people that fish in China and the likes most same fish we get
I think the issue can be inconsistent quality sue to the scale of production however I must say I agree as I have had some great stuff at a fraction of the retail cost it would be over here !
My wife caught a 38" pike with a cheap store brand spoon. I'll never turn my nose up to low priced lures again! You just never know what they'll bite on.

Not being judgmental, just an idea
I've used quite a few lures from Ali Express and caught fish with most of them . Also I'd be much more likely to fish in a snaggey swim with a $3 lure than risk loosening a$20 lure. Had some incredible catches on their surface lures and would definitely recommend them.
So Chinese lures work!

That first one looks like a salmo slider.
That is the most action you could ever asked for for one hour of fishing! You couldn’t catch that many northern pikes in one hour with any other lures regardless of the price!

I wanna try some terminal tackle from aliexpress, just to see how it is, i found one that sold premade stingers for big soft baits, so gonna give them ago when i get my next paycheck even if I am foolish i don't belive that a stinger has to be 7 quidd (norway prices) for them to work, i just wont belive thats true.
I've used various beit for rig making they do aomw pretty good split rings and wires , the reviews are normally key in finding the good ones !
@@bhfishing8572 Issue is often that aliexpress is quite well known for their sellers buying reviews, but I have some stores on there I have gotten reccomended so going to try those out, in my expirience stores are more important to know which are good and which are bad moreso than individual products themselves. a good way to see aswell is how long they have been in buisness aswell, and which seem to be selling the exact same products you see all over as those are most likley just resellers, Wlures, ESfishing and Meredith have been good to me so far (those last two seem to just be making knock offs of more established brands but they are chinese so go figure)
I am terribly sorry for this post being a whole novel but I wanted to get as much info into it as possible.
Or just do like everyone does and build your own stingers. Always works out a fair bit cheaper then buying them.
I'm doing something very wrong, I hardly ever get a take....

Yeah absoloutly, I've never had an issue and I have been using them for years!
