I remember a few videos back you went out looking for colors and it was a bit too early. You finally found them! That row of blazing yellow trees you drove past was beautiful!
We were a little late for the colors but the yellows were magnificent. It hard to get the timing just right. We were just lucky this time we didn’t expect it to be so pretty.

Oh, beautiful color and the scenic drive was one of my favorite things to do. Use to camp in the early spring on Lake Superior campground @ the mouth of the Two Heart River, no hook ups. Sit around the campfire in our snowsuits one day and fight the black flies the next if it warmed up. What a great time, fishing from the shore. Thanks for the mini vacation, watching a snowstorm as I type this, lovely Michigan! Happy tails and safe travels.

Here is a tip, Walmart has natural Ginger Chews that really works for the tummy! I use then every year on all the roads! Love Roaring Fork! Cades Cove too! Our Pod is self contained. We too take military showers and conserve. No commercial campgrounds for us either.
My husband and I really enjoyed your videos! We just got our Winnebago Travato 59KL after waiting almost 5 months. We're retired too and want to travel with our 14 year old Maltese(Our baby). Thank you for letting us know. Hopefully one day soon you can join in the world of what do we need to do, where did all the time go retired life. Believe it or not, for the last 4 months, every episode was recorded on one of our iPhone 13 Pros. The quality of the video is more than “good enough” for us and the audio can be tricky but we seem be able to make it work. Curious, are you asking because you like the quality or because it’s not as good as you’d like? We always like to hear how folks feel about the quality and experience. Have a safe and happy holiday time and stay connected to us.
I forgot to let you know we do that too with saving water out here in Vegas is running low. They are suppose cut back our water next year. We were saving on water by taking showers every other day. But now our water heater broke and so it leaked in.the kitchen and living room and then the toilet part broke and we ended up getting ankle deep water. So we had to find temporary housing til they get it fixed. We are at a hotel for now. Tuesday we’ll have an air bee and bee. There went saving water. But r will go back to doing it. Super C’s are AWESOME!!! Believe it or not Lynn drooled over getting a Seneca when we took our first long trip. We’ve never done it yet but she and I love them. My music is not on Apple Music. Don't know if you guys did or not, but the old Elkmont town is a trail walk from the campgrounds. It consists of old cabins built in 1900's, and a graveyard. Love you guys. Take care and stay well..
We did not walk to the Elkmont town, I did see that when we were researching but forgot about it while we were there. It sounds like a great thing to do. I hate we missed it.
You two inspire us. We will miss next Sundays video, we will be on a plane to Michigan to purchase a 07 Roadtrek and start our van life driving home to Florida. I sure do. Lots of reasons I do… some are that I’m lazy. But mostly it’s because of the small footprint in the van and the small amount of battery energy needed to charge it and keep it going all day. My laptop pulled quite a few watts to charge and I had to keep it charging while it was doing tasks like editing so it was a drain on our batteries. The iPad Pro not so much. I have used an app call LumaFusion for many years now. It’s nowhere near as good as Final Cut on a laptop but it gets the job done for me. It keeps getting better and better with each release which is all you can really ask for. They also just one the 2021 App of the Year from Apple. Let me know if you’d like more info on it.
Great video! We always visit Roaring Fork Motor Trail and Cades Cove when we vacation in the area. Both areas are absolutely peaceful and beautiful. We also like to walk around the old Elkmont resort/town. We love the Smoky Mountains!

At this time of year, the most important question we have is about heat. On a night where it dips down into the 30ties I assume you run the furnace. Do use only propane or do you use a combination of battery power and propane or none of the above? Definitely a newbie question. Oh, we have the Truma eco combi unit if that is a help. Love your videos! The road was so beautiful with all of the yellows, and then the Pileated Woodpecker and Great Blue Heron (I didn't know the heron would visit so far inland). Do you think the road leading to the campground (coming from the Knoxville area) would support/allow a 18' foot travel trailer?
