Just becuase you haven't found a team capable of beating it yet doesn't make you bad. Party finder groups tend to suck, and people with a lot of friends interested in endgame content are at a huge advantage.

Just for fun, there are a lot of weapons that don´t make sense, the very scythe can be used by Dark Knights as sword. Is merely glamour, it doesn´t have to make sense at all, when you desperatedly need an explanation for anything FF-related, the answer is magic; it´ll always be magic.
