If nothing else, There should be an ECMO program at Children's Mercy that is designed for patients to potentially sit up and walk and such known as the Zei program. :)
@@halezmcd9908 if you look it up in your search engine it shows she actually really went home so that she could die at home. It seems as though the family and the patient had a chat with doctors with regards to just wanting to get out of the hospital, as I think the patient and family knew she wasn't going to get back to her old self and that she probably was reaching the end of her life. She died about two weeks after leaving the hospital.
I just found several other stories from that hospital, and she was in a few,can I say 100% she's alive and ok,no,but I will do my research,and find out for sure,they made it sound like she was pretty good...
