Generative and Developmental Evaluation

Generative Evaluation takes a living system approach where design and purpose meet complexity in the set of relationships. The living system comprises the messy, usually complex context in which activities are implemented based on the design to achieve the purpose. Generative evaluation aims to help us learn about how well the design serves the intended purpose under real life conditions.
