    Hi i have a few questions about this machine? #1 can the steam function cook soft boiled eggs? #2 the blender function strong enuff for defrosted meats? Thanks for the useful video btw - cheers ^^

      @FeltLikeHome  4 роки тому +2

      Hi.. Glad you find the video useful ^_^
      I haven't tried using it for the 2 that you mentioned but if you can manage the timing right I think steaming the egg to a soft boiled egg shouldn't be a problem but you got to be very careful when you turn the container though since steaming and opening would require turning it upside down and the egg may break. I'd used it to blend dried anchovies, it takes longer than food processor but it does the job :) hope these info helps...

      Hi there! Ah yes that part is really tight if you try to open with hands. I used the spoon handle to help with opening something like how I opened the water cover but using the handle instead of the head. Place the spoon handle between the lid and the sieve near the steamer handle part where its curved up. Hope this helps 😊

    Is it normal to have the water residue trapped inside the jar after steaming?

    • @FeltLikeHome
      @FeltLikeHome  4 роки тому +1

      Hi.. Yes its normal to have extra water in the jar after steaming as steam are vaporized water after all, so steam that got in contact with the jar n cooled down will slide back down as water/liquid... Hope this helps :)

    I have question if water tank can wash or remove to clean??

    • @FeltLikeHome
      @FeltLikeHome  2 роки тому +3

      Hi there~! I'm really glad you find it helpful~!
      Unfortunately the tank can't be washed under water but with instruction from the manual book you may clean/descale the water tank with a mixed solution of 50ml white vinegar (8% acetic acid) to 150ml water. Pour the mixed solution into the chamber like usual and let it steam for 5-6m minutes (Empty jar without food inside). Pour away the solution and rinse the chamber with fresh clean water a few times. Then fill chamber with 200ml water and let it run for a full 20 minute steam (Empty jar without food) before using it to steam food again.
      Hope this helps ^_^

      Hi there~! The water tank can't be opened and we're not advised to open the product on our own but the manual book does provide an instruction that you may clean/descale the water tank with a mixed solution of 50ml white vinegar (8% acetic acid) to 150ml water. Pour the mixed solution into the chamber like usual and let it steam for 5-6m minutes (Empty jar without food inside). Pour away the solution and rinse the chamber with fresh clean water a few times. 50ml - 5 min
      100ml - 10 min
      150ml - 15 min
      200ml (max) - 20 min

      @FeltLikeHome  4 роки тому

      @@tenzinkyizom2252 Hi, everything has a different time so I can't give you reference on this, usually I'd let it steam 20 min and check with a sifter, if the food is able to go through it easily and smoothly then it's OK, else I'd add another 5 to 10 min till everything is able to go through the sifter easily. :)
