Hi i have a few questions about this machine? #1 can the steam function cook soft boiled eggs? #2 the blender function strong enuff for defrosted meats? Thanks for the useful video btw - cheers ^^
Hi.. Glad you find the video useful ^_^ I haven't tried using it for the 2 that you mentioned but if you can manage the timing right I think steaming the egg to a soft boiled egg shouldn't be a problem but you got to be very careful when you turn the container though since steaming and opening would require turning it upside down and the egg may break. I'd used it to blend dried anchovies, it takes longer than food processor but it does the job :) hope these info helps...
Hello. My device steams perfectly but won’t blend at all. I tried emptying the container and steaming again but the blender still won’t work. Steamer still works fine Please help
May be there is something wrong with the motor... steaming and blending is 2 different mechanisms after all 😅 do contact your seller or repair personnel ya 😊
Thank you for this video! Have you ever had it leak? Bought one 2nd hand and when I try to descale it leaks water from somewhere and will sit in a puddle of water at the end.
@@FeltLikeHomewow, I didn’t expect a reply 😅 I’ll probably be checking them out because I’m too lazy to read the instructions and you show the product straight to the point and with clean “instructions”

Hello. Thanks for the video. Can you tell me how to remove the sieve and valve from the lid please? I tried pulling it out. But it's not budging. Thanks!
Hi there! Ah yes that part is really tight if you try to open with hands. I used the spoon handle to help with opening something like how I opened the water cover but using the handle instead of the head. Place the spoon handle between the lid and the sieve near the steamer handle part where its curved up. Hope this helps 😊
Hi.. Yes its normal to have extra water in the jar after steaming as steam are vaporized water after all, so steam that got in contact with the jar n cooled down will slide back down as water/liquid... Hope this helps :)
Yes. I'd say it's worth it! It really did help me alot in preparing my baby's puree food and the vegetables steamed with this is nice. It is still functioning well now although I hardly uses it after my baby grew out of puree food needs. Once in a while I still use it to steam and blend fruits to make popsicles 😊
Hi there~! I'm really glad you find it helpful~! Unfortunately the tank can't be washed under water but with instruction from the manual book you may clean/descale the water tank with a mixed solution of 50ml white vinegar (8% acetic acid) to 150ml water. Pour the mixed solution into the chamber like usual and let it steam for 5-6m minutes (Empty jar without food inside). Pour away the solution and rinse the chamber with fresh clean water a few times. Then fill chamber with 200ml water and let it run for a full 20 minute steam (Empty jar without food) before using it to steam food again. Hope this helps ^_^
With 1st kid it was great option. Now i have 2nd kid and it is not good. It doesnt cook. I hear that aparat cook, but food is not coked. Do you know what is problem?

Hey there~ You can get any measuring cup, here is the guidelines for how much water to how many minutes of steaming from the original cup (basically 10ml = 1min) : 50ml - 5 min 100ml - 10 min 150ml - 15 min 200ml (max) - 20 min Hope this helps! ^_^
@@tenzinkyizom2252 Hi, everything has a different time so I can't give you reference on this, usually I'd let it steam 20 min and check with a sifter, if the food is able to go through it easily and smoothly then it's OK, else I'd add another 5 to 10 min till everything is able to go through the sifter easily. :)

You're most welcome ☺ Mine so far had not leaked though... perhaps you can try checking if the valve in the cap is damaged?
Great video. Suggestion: if you’re not going to talk you could have muted the sound. Background noise is a bit annoying
Thanks for the suggestion, I am now making my videos in a quieter environment hopefully it helps me make better videos 😊

You can add more water like she showed to cook your foods longer.. Or cut them into much thinner/smaller pieces before steaming

Hello, can this function without the rubber valve? I lost it 😔
Hi have you found the answer to it yet? I have lost the rubber valve too
@@ampshage2540 yeah it still does. :)
Where can I get this
You can look in your local onlie shopping platforms, baby stores or electrical stores. 😊
Can you make rice in this?
Hmm... I don't think so... The grains might get stuck in the cap and to cook rice you'll need to soak the grains in water... 😅
My own just stopped working..please, help
Do contact your seller or local Philips service center for assistance ya
Can it steam.bottles??
