my 2021 purchased new, I upgraded it myself to a TRD, no reason to change I don't see any advantages to the new one, the gas mileage is over rated.

Might want to wait longer, like 2025 or 2026. Unless you're smart and get a '21 or older with a V8
He is fortunate. I have 2 coworkers who bought platinum, and they have never-ending issues. I know Toyota keeps improving year after year on models. That's why I bought a 2024 es350. I could never pay 80k for a test model compared to a ram. Keep in mind I live in the rust belt. Toyota has more issues due to salt from the roads and ocean with far less features

I love my '15 Tundra and don't intend to get rid of it. But, I would never buy a 6-cylinder full size pickup. I bought my truck to be a truck, not a suburban passenger car with a bed! Toyota completely missed the mark and I'm certain the Tundra will eventually be dropped to lack of sales!

Isn’t gas handle in green reserved for diesel fuel?
Some gas stations like Sinclair have regular unleaded with green handles. Then they use yellow for diesel. Kindof strange.
The only way its makes sense IF Toyota really does do the Hydrogen OR the do a Diesel

Bought 6 Tundras until 2021. Now I am wearing it out and will either look for a low mileage 21 or buy a GMC 2500. NO V8 NO DICE!11
Just insane to even consider new anything. Of course a used tundra is gonna be expensive.....it's still way less. Mpg doesn't matter if the truck costs 70-90k and you are having to pay insane insurance as well as tag fee etc.... Old is gold if you can find no rust. Dealer is alway busy if needing warranty work. If paying out of pocket dealer mechanic wants as much as a lawyer hourly. If buying used and you have a breakdown you pay an entry level lawyer hourly fee and all shops are covered up with waiting list. That leave a the DIY guy who has to find time and energy to repair between job commitments as well as family time. The more tech the more problems. "If" I was buying a brand new half ton...yes...I'd buy the Toyota. I've had ford and Chevy all my life and I'm sooo done with the Murica auto manufacturer tricks and poor quality. Yes, I know tundra is assembled in USA but it is still derived from Japan as well as Kaizen. I wish the chicken tax didn't prevent Toyota from competing with heavy duty pickups in USA.
That V6 turbo might get or two extra MPG and that's it.
This is at 20k more than the TRX cost in 3021

When I went to buy a new Tundra in 2010 I found out that it was no longer available with a manual transmission, so I bought a 2010 TRD Offroad 6 speed manual Tacoma which I am still driving every day and plan to drive till the end of time. The next vehicle I plan to buy is a 2022 6 speed manual Carola LE hatchback. If Toyota still made a manual Carola LE hatchback I would buy a new one. As long as I could get 16 inch wheels, I can't stand the current big wheel short sidewalls fashion bull💩.

That mustache grill is ugly. Looks like an old Hyundai grill. The way it sticks out at the bottom and no tow hoods. And no bed step. The hybrid is not even a hybrid with taking up space in the cab for the battery. Had high hopes initially before it was revealed.
