Jeff Beck IS the Guitarist... period!
To me the fact that Jeff Beck is still taking risks is why he was,is, & will always be the greatest guitarist that ever lived IMO.
There's absolutely no musician, much less guitarist on the same plane as Jeff Beck. How could Queen Elizabeth not bestowed the honor of Knighthood on him?? Come on his skill set is a impossible bar to reach, in his 70's still rocking.GOAT

Two talents from the music world, almost 3 but Freddie Mercury wasn't around long enough. PRINCE just had it in wowness and Jeff Beck had it whoaness, complete mastery looks smooth and easy. I'm not a player but love music, specially live music and as a lifelong fan boy of JB starting with blow by blow (Thanks Columbia house) he was beyond a specific label and wasn't bending to pressure, same with PRINCE. JEFF just waited for the world to catch up, his whole persona changed a little, probably just age but he started touring again and I'm so glad the world caught up to what I always said "he's the master of his instrument". There's a lot of great players, EVH VAI EC EJ JS SL SM PRINCE but Jeff Beck was unequaled. The world lost a great one and I'm so glad I was along for the ride, thanks Mr Beck
Beck is a treasure. This is a great rock'n roll tune. He's so a cut above the rest in his guitar artistry. Always pushing the envelope and coming up with fresh stuff. Forever young at 72.

This 65 year old geezer likes this song just fine! It's good to hear Jeff Beck playing straight old style rock the house guitar without all the volume knob whammy bar stuff. That stuff if fine too, and is his signature style, but thus song shows what he can do without those methods.

I saw Beck play on Sunday (08-14-2016) at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California with Buddy Guy as the opening act. Its my 3rd time seeing Beck. The first time was in 1989 with SRV and the second time was in the mid 90's with Santana. Like the other two shows I went to, all I have to say is Jeff Beck (as well as his band) did not disappoint. Rosie Bones also was a standout.

I saw Jeff and the Girls last night at PNC in Jersey. When I first heard this new album I was "taken aback" After last night I stand as a BELIEVER again! Jeff is bringing blues int the twilight zone! He was always cutting edge! Finding new relatively unknown musicians and bringing them into the spot light. EX: Rod Stewart, Ron Wood, Tal Wilkenfeld [just opened for the Who] . These talented young ladies better get ready for the ride. Was great seeing Rhonda Smith on Bass last night again!

I just found out about this album, today.Last night I was walking the dogs in the dark, observing the people huddled around their glowing screens inside their houses and I was contemplating how we have been trained to be afraid of the dark, by those that sell you stories delivered over glowing screens. And we bought it! Instead of being outside, in the dark, looking at the Moon and Mars and Saturn and Milky Way, people have been cowed into expecting entertainment from a magic rectangular glow box.Then comes this screamer! (BTW, I so dig that Beck uses girls to sing his songs! And they sing rock and roll as opposed to just warbling their tonsils like so many female pop stars do.) I'm given to the idea that "Reality is fucking with me!" when I run into that level of synchronicity. And I couldn't be happier that Jeff and I are on the same wavelength!

Just saw this performed live last night in Atlanta. Absolutely fabulous. Jeff Beck has never disappointed. It was nice to see so many women playing backup for him. And to think he didn't need Hillary's help.

Into his 70s, Jeff Beck appears to be better than ever. And, displays even greater mastery of the music. His work is seamless with the vocals here. Dare I say some of his best work since his days as one of my childhood guitar heros? Cheers from a lifetime fan.

Yes, he is. Saw him live at Massey Hall in Toronto in the '80s and he/his band were AMAZING. One of THE best guitar players on Earth.
From my perspective he has surpassed his two very very big peers because he doesn’t stroke the star making machinery and always tried new sounds. PS. He picks the greatest band mates.

I own just about everything the man has recorded. This is absolutely brilliant - great guitar playing through an entire song that has one chord. I love it and can't wait for the album. At 72, Beck is still at the top of his game. Seeing him in July and hope he plays the entire record.
