The day of her release has finally come!
Kohaku Aoki aka A002 (she has two names), is an android/robot that has an advanced AI who yearns to live like a normal human being. I just thought that I keep on doing content using other people's UTAU, so why not make my own? And after recording a single note and uploading it to the UTAU program, I decided to give it a full voicebank because I got excited and even made it a small skit for the intro of this video. This voice bank is still in CV but, I already made a recording for a VCV vb for her but I am not sure when will I release that.
Special thanks to @Stelyost for creating this wonderful illustration as well as providing me the layers from the illustration. The layers really gave a lot of flexibility during the editing process. Also, I keep on seemingly interrogating the crowd in the background due to this song's lyrics, I hope you don't mind lol.

I love this girl! And the opening skit was a great way to set the mood. I'm guessing that Kohaku has kept her job as a singer a secret from her friend, and went to the mall with her in hopes that the friend sees her perform and figures it out without Kohaku having to explain and justify her art to her? After all, seeing is believing, and having a full-blown concert in front of your friend speaks a thousand words more than "oh, by the way, I sing at the mall sometimes". This is next level of impressing a friend with your art. Or, maybe, Kohaku's friend didn't even know that Kohaku is a robot (which is... Kinda hard to miss, with her looks and all), so it was a double whammy for her. Your shy gal pal who has never been to the mall before is actually a cyber diva. The future is now. Anyway, her voice is really cool, and Tanjiro's ust of Lost One is one of my favourites ever since the Teto version came out. Loving it!
Super thanks for the long comment! 🥰 Initially, I was blown away by your analysis of the small skit because I thought people were focusing more on the cover. That being said, you were kinda 60% right on your guess. It can't be helped though because I did leave many details, it was a short skit after all. I'll confirm a few things and then leave the rest to the imagination ;) The character that I am voicing isn't just her friend, but the scientist who made Kohaku, and Kohaku isn't a shy gal at all, she is far from it :)
Her design and the illustrations are soooo good omg. The many languages part was so unexpected wow. Loving this video and what it means!

Just found your UTAU through your Denki covers - I'm absolutely love with her voice and the way you tune her !! She sounds so powerful in this demo (04:35!!!) and the language switches are amazing !! Now on my list of favorite UTAUs!

The languages part was included in Tanjiro's ust! (Tanjiro's version was Teto singing it) but the pronunciations was absolutely nailed by utau itself :)

I'm just adding that it's users like you who inspire me to try to carry out my late friend's wishes. He really wanted to work on an UTAU and actually asked me to provide the vocals for him to use. I was too scared, so it never happened before he passed, I'm hoping I can make that a reality soon.
@@TheXion92 Thanks for subbing! You should really try it! I was scared too until I tried recording at least one note one day. I just said "ahhh" to the microphone then upload the vocal to utau then, well, I ended up liking it so much. Try recording at least one note. It doesn't have to be VCV already, just a simple CV voicebank is enough. As for the oto.ini, you can use my utau as a reference for it. Hope that helps! 🙂
@@AstuteUser I'm very curious about the program itself. Like is UTAU free to use or does it cost anything? Is it only in Japanese? There are things I definitely need to learn in addition to being brave enough to honor my friend's wishes.
@@TheXion92 It's really free to use and you only need to change your computer's language to Japanese. It doesn't cost you anything, you only need a good mic and some basic recording software like audacity.
The language is not limited to Japanese as I have seen some recording lists out there that are in different languages but the japanese language is the most easiest thing to do since that's the original language of the program itself. All you have to do is to record some lines, adjust it then the program itself will the do the rest.
