I've never spent much time before creating different layouts before but man, I had no idea you can do so much with it, this really opened up my eyes to something really cool. Also, my mind can't comprehend the time you've put to make these videos man, major props.

I know these things are constantly evolving, but you should release a reaper configuration that people could try in a portable install to see what they like. Also super interested in that track preset script!!! Yeah I know it’s not super simple, also planning on buying the icons! Maybe you could include the screen set with the layouts and stuff in the download?

Did you know that there's a Fruity Dance Version for Reaper Called "PeloReaper" ? I'm beating my beat after I knew about it, life's great when you have someone to dance to your songs in reaper
Cool video! Will borrow some of these ideas. I would love to see a video on how to best optimize Reaper for touch screen use. I love mixing on my couch with my Microsoft Surface. Reaper is pretty decent for touch control but I imagine there are ways to improve it.

Nice video ! I already went through this process and ended with same concept of top toolbar buttons opening different docked toolbars. Your video gave me some other ideas (the docked project note is brilliant !).
i want to make reaper fast as ableton and same as ableton .. ..with all the shortcuts and all the functions same as ableton .. i dont want to buy ableton .. but want to make same as ableton ..
I would honestly just save up and get Ableton. You can of course accomplish many of the things in REAPER but if Ableton already got everything you want, then that could be a nice goal :D
