You are wise not wanting to skip little things in the video. We are trying to learn how to fix our scooters which will make us want to buy parts and tools from you showing our appreciation for teaching us how to. If so called mechanics don't like you sharing your knowledge and great teaching skills, they should fast forward ahead on the video. There are too many want to be UA-cam channels that are bad teachers that assume viewers already know things.

Excelent video! Detailed overhaulded engine! I kept it in my favourite videos. Coincidence, i had the problem.solution: complete malossi v4 , crankshaft, malossi gears, malossi variator, clutch and air filter, all combined with malossi cdi and emulator, assembling with akrapovick.the portuguese robot(🤭) has one vespa 300 overhauled that reaches 185 km/h!

Looking at the engine spread out on the table, I was wondering just how much effort and cost could have been saved, by just changing to oil on the service intervals! Sadly, it seems to have been a costly mistake that could have been avoided. :(

question, I found a 2018 gas 300,,,, cheap guy blew the engine I think, said it needs a bottom end rebuild. after calling around most mechanics won't do a rebuild they wanna throw an new engine in and that would cost as much as just buying one,,,, is it worth a try to do a rebuild myself? im ex airfare guy, used to work on jet engines, but I know nothing about vespa engines,, but after watching your videos, if I used them as reference,, is this something I could possibly do? the thing looks brand new ,,,

@ Vespamotorsport When replacing a crank in the Vespa series motors, I've understood there are different versions? Like a type 1 or type 2. Before tearing into a motor and having everything all taken apart, is there any way to know what crank you need so you don't risk losing parts while you wait for the crank to arrive? I have a GTS 250 that needs a crank and I want to do the cleaning, tear down, and rebuild all over 1 weekend so as not to forget how it goes together and not to lose anything. What are the crankshaft options? Thanks!

I've got a few questions about the gt300 mallosi kit installation. I've watched all 3 videos of rebuild, I noticed that it looked like you were having some of the issues that I have come across. My question is did you have low compression when you got it together? I have got 70psi I've done compression, leakdown, and the usual checks. Have not found a red flag with any of them. You have any thoughts why I have low compression?
