There are few things better than listening to the scariest man and the strongest man genuinely cracking up telling stories about the funniest man they ever worked with.
Owen Hart and Eddie Guerrero would have been the best and funniest duo together!! So sad they’re both gone. 😔 RIP Owen Hart & RIP Eddie Guerrero, thank you both so much!!
I could see these 2 going 1 on 1 and when Eddie tries to lie cheat and steal they would just be tossing the chair back and forth and when the ref gets up they would both go prone lol
I could listen to Owen rib stories from the boys all day. And shout out to Mark Henry. Has always just seemed like a salt of the earth, humble, great dude. Always appreciated that about him.
I remember Mick Foley wrote in his book how Owen and Davey were wrestling house shows with Al Snow and Owen wouldn’t sell Al’s moves at all. They’d be locked in a hold and Owen would be yawning and checking his wrist for invisible time while Davey would be cracking up in the corner, slamming on the turnbuckle. “Ahahaha! Looka Owen! Ahaha! Fook’s sake Al!”
Do you remember the match on tv where Mick and Owen stunk it up on purpose to see if they could break Steve Austin? Austin was in stitches and I heard he called them the shits for doing it. Lol
@@randallw1977 Isnt that the match between Mick and Owen where they heard that Dave Meltzer was in attendance so they made it their goal to have a really bad match so that Meltzer would give the match a negative star. They would use popcorns as weapon, Owen did a popcorn angel on tfe floor, they would sell like they got hit by a truck but Meltzer actually liked the match
I remember the next day I was still shook up with Owen's death. A girl I kind of had a thing for knew something was bothering me and said "You look like you just lost your best friend". I just looked at her and said "You don't know the half of it".
I remember Owen was up here in Vancouver at a house show. He was wrestling Fatu. Fatu comes out waving the Canadian flag getting pops from the crowd. Owen comes to the ring, he gets the mic and says "I'm a Canadian you idiots, and I hate you all!" Man, I laughed so hard. I still have my Owen Hart t-shirt.
God bless Owen. Really sounds like a genuine good soul. “You know I was always better than you” like that’s brazen. Some would say that that was true. The fans watching on tv would only get a taste of that potential
I’ve heard Mark Henry talk about Owen several times because of their close relationship but I’ve never hold Taker talk about Owen. This is so awesome to hear them trade Owen and Davey stories.
I can listen to these stories about Owen all day. I loved the story Mick Foley wrote in his autobiography about when they were in England and Owen called Mick and using a British accent told him there was a discrepancy about the cost of his hotel room.
I haven’t heard the story yet but if it is the pig story, then it’s the Dec in your house in 1995 when owen told the farmers to put them in Vince’s office. The photo was posted in the official wwf magazine the following month with a picture of Vince opening the door and seeing the pigs.
Owen was definitely more entertaining to watch. Almost every match of his I saw, he always did something different that I hadn’t seen before. He was also a great heel because you knew he was really a nice guy in real life so when he tried to act mean, it was kind of funny.
Man, someone needs to go around and make a compilation of all the different Owen stories across all the different shoot interviews, his pranking career is the stuff of legend, and I always just feel good after listening to people tell stories about his ribs. Mark Henry is dead on though, if Owen had stayed with us during the eras that followed his and got to put together some sort of comedy gimmick, or got to make a UA-cam channel with goofy stuff like this, he would have been mega mega over. Dude would have probably been a riot in the era of Reality TV. I really do love the idea of Bret and Owen's dynamic. Super serious, super honest Bret with a prankster goofball brother like Owen. And despite that you can tell they were close
I’ve waited so long for Owen stories!! Coming from the 90’s like we did, his wrestling antics, you knew outside of it he was genuinely funny. RIP to Owen.
Jim Cornette tells a similar story to the Owen Hart/Shawn Stasiak battle royal one. Bobby Eaton tells a jobber to do this spot in a battle royal. The guy is dodging people along the way, but when he comes back, Bobby is long gone. I think that may have been a universal rib to green talent 😂.
In an alternate timeline/universe, Owen Hart is alive. To me, he’s the biggest “what if” in wrestling. What if he never died? So Sad. Such an amazing human.
I have watched this clip a few times. I was the biggest Owen Hart fan as a kid. And he showed the whole world how funny he was with his KOTR '96 commentary (which I can't bloody find anywhere on youtube).
I remember watching Owen wrestle Bad News Brown at a house show; he had Bad News laughing so hard the audience was cheering for him; Bad News got on the mic to yell at the crowd but all he could do is laugh.
Owen Hart was a one of a kind person. He played his part so well whether it was as a babyface, heel, or comic relief. When he played a heel he really made you feel hate for him. It’s so awesome to hear stories about him and how incredibly funny and kind he was. He’s definitely one of my favorite wrestlers because of his character work and his technical skills. RIP, Owen. You’re missed so much.
I used to laugh my ass off watching Owen's matches. The way he would run the ropes in 2 to 3 huge steps, to the odd moments he'd break people in the ring. Truly a legend in every sense of the word.
Oh man, this brought a tear to my eye. It's stories like these that I wish non-wrestling fans were exposed to, they could see the fun and get over the other stuff.
I remember a house show in the 90s. That my parents took me to see my 2nd wwf event. Owen Davey boy versus another tag team. Owen kept shouting and making these noises. And I remember Davey laughing to the point he couldn't even take the tag. Great memories seeing those 2 and you also mark you were there that night.
The fact that every wrestler from that generation has never spoke ill of Owen is a testament to the type of person he was such a great person gone way too soon
I could only imagine the stories Owen would be telling if he were still here today, the podcasts, the WrestleCon's, guest starring on the Steve Austin podcast, kicking it with you guys (6ft under). Truly one of the best of all time.
The tribute night for Owen on RAW was awesome. The end with Steve couldn't be more fitting.... Calling for two, chugging one and leaving the other in the centre of the ring. I saw Bret years later in a bar and had to buy him a drink.
this is beautiful to hear. in the 80’s + 90’s their rivalry looked so real on the tv. that I wouldn’t have guessed that they would travel together & sleep in the same hotel while on the road. 🤩
Honestly that would make me happy is to have my friends remember the silly stuff I would do just to make their day better. Owen's life was cut short but god dam he lived a good life RIP.
I can only imagine how the podcasts would be if Owen was here telling stories about his pranks😂 R.I.P Owen

can you also imagine the match(es) those two could have had? god, what could have been.

Theres a prank call on UA-cam its funny as fuck 😅
He definitely didn’t seem to fit in “The Nation”. He’s just to genuine guy to go heel.
Remember Taker was the only wrestler not at the RAW after Owen died because he flew straight to Owen's family to give them support.
Il pouvait pas a cause de son personnage, il a donc choisit un autre moyen de lui rendre hommage.
He wouldn't appear on any memorial show because of his character
He was at that Raw. He just didn't appear at the opening ten count.
not all wrestlers could just leave
Only during Paul Bearer's tribute did he make an appearance...
