I remember when I was younger, my brother gave me the CAT Scale card of Project 350. A few years later, I finally got driving trucks and got to see Project 350 myself on the Jersey Pike. Just incredible to see in-person. Ritchie really lost the plot with it later, but initially it was, as others have said, "the benchmark of cool."
I'm from Brazil and I've been following the story of this truck for some time since the time of former owner Richie, an amazing machine a legend in America Congratulations to the new owner
I used to see Richie with this Pete every year at Englishtown and it was always looking spotless , crazy thing is it sounds a lot quieter than the last time I saw him when it was in its murdered out phase
Flash back from the past for me. One of my friends Dad had a 3-truck company thru the 70's. He had all cab over Petes, and they were stretched and being cab overs they looked even longer. I still remember as a teenager, riding with him and what seemed like ridiculous exaggerated wide turns. Now being retired after 45 years of driving, those turns just seemed normal. Love those slicked out long frame rails. Great vid.
This is my all time favorite truck from the first time I saw it. I had never seen a wheelbase that long before in my life. I love the all black of it. I liked some of the renditions Ritchie did to it better than others but I in my opinion it’s the coolest truck ever to roll the big roads of America.
I'm glad to see Richies truck is still running down the road and in good hands I use to run down the road with Richie I miss him RIP Richie. Truck still looks good.
Right lol.. He was a Wild Card. A Blast To Run With .. We' blew the Coops many times Richie and I.. . Put'em in the Left Lane & let'em eat , Close Your eyes and Bkow right by the ⚖️chicken coops ⚖️ lol .Had a Blast Runnin with Richie.. Rip Richie 🙏
Very cool to see it back to close to original pulling a stainless spread. I'm sure he's happy 350's wheels are still turning. Wish that his spiked hair and big smile was poppin up over the window sill but hey it is what it is. Thanks for posting Steve.
Looks beautiful and regal rolling through the foggy night. The sound of the motor producing those deep vibrations. You'll either see it, hear it or feel this truck coming. Luv it!!
To everyone who knew Ritchie we all have our stories I remember he had a truck show in Little Ferry NJ he had a little girl judging the show she was terminally ill she picked my truck because it was her favorite color and she had on an outfit that matched the color of my truck I was so happy beating out Elizabeth Truck Centers Beast RIP Ritchie and long live project 350 a helluva truck
when his friend bought it was not in that bad of shape. But I am glad to see it back in good hands and get the love it deserves. Richie was a good guy and demons got him so many of us tried to help him.
Wow Richie's old RIG. At first I was like no way there's only one project 350 and that is RICHIE Acosta's rig. REST IN POWER RICHIE. It looks way different from when RICHIE had her. Please keep the LEGEND of RICHIE alive. We miss you out here big Rich😪☝🏻 what happened to the picture on the back of the sleeper that lit up?
Wow Project 350 . That's my friends old truck Mr Richie Acosta... Peace ✌️ Love ❤️ and 18 Wheelz In Heaven to Ya Richie .....Shiny Side Up Hero' ..Hey Ira aka Wicked Intent. do ya see this .Hero..
man when I first saw this truck in person in 2006 at Carlisle, I was hooked for life as a fan. I know it went thru some changes in style, but how it looked in 2006 was the best in my not worth 2 cents opinion 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍✋✋glad to see it still rolling, there used to be a video of project350 working into a tight loading dock in new jersey, cant find it now.
Nice looking truck driver, take care of yourself and your family and hopefully soon fuel price will fall down so you can make some money for your truck.

Are you living under a rock? The original owner delivered all over NYC, NJ Boston, New Hampshire, there's videos of him getting into docks that steering wheel holders can't get into with a freightliner Cascadia.
And why is that? Do you think that Richie, and his dedication/contributions to the custom truck world, and the truck itself, aren't worth the remembrance? Not everyone wants to wipe away people and things that may have a deserving in history.
That is a ridiculous looking truck. Looks like it was a straight truck and someone took the box off and stuck a fifth wheel on it. Looks really efficient with regards to overall legal length and/or cargo carrying capacity… NOT! Real fun parking in tight spots too… but hey, each to his own.
This was and still is the benchmark of cool....This was the game changer.
@Michael Kirsch you obviously don't know what you are talking about!!! So stay quiet
Im so glad to see project 350 back on the road. That is most likely the best lookin Pete I've ever seen. Richie and his Rig is a legend. RIP Richie.
Richie’s parents lived up the block from me in North Bergen. Seen this truck all the time with his bike on the back
@@97vr6gtithey still around bye chance?

It would be without that Micky mouse wheel base
I’ve often wondered about richies truck I’m glad to see it alive and well I know Richie would be happy it’s being taken care of

Did some searching and could never find out what happened to project 350.. legendary truck
Great to see Richie’s truck is in good hands.Never forget seeing it for the first time at Secondi’s truck stop in Connecticut 💪 RIP Ritchie
I'm glad to see Richies truck is still running down the road and in good hands I use to run down the road with Richie I miss him RIP Richie.

“You gotta be on your best behavior when driving it” is the funniest thing you can say if you own Richie’s truck 😂

Deve ser muito difícil de manobrar. Essa cavalo longo é pra poucos motoristas
The outside was in good shape … But the interior/ wiring was not ..
Just love this truck. Such beautiful truck.
R.I.P. Ritchie. Glad truck went to a good home. I remember the videos of Project 350 & 351 KW900. The night time footage 👍👍👍
John’s a good dude. I’m sure it’s gonna turn out just as good or better. Can’t wait to see it
Richie's Peterbilt Project 350 really looks amazing. Glad she is in good hands. Wonder where Project 351 is the Kenworth counterpart
Thats a rig that'll be known for many many a year . Not many tagged with star status like that!
Terrific looking large car.
Good to see it still making them rounds.
Keepin Richie's Spirit alive ♥

Apparently a lot of little details were removed. The bike thing on the wheelbase. The little horns. The flames on pipes. The black wheels.
It should stay as it is that thing is so so sick..🥵🔥 I wish to have that truck one day 😅
Very cool ride for sure!!!
Love it or hate it, still cool and badass ❤
I think I still got the calendar shell calendar with that truck in it Richie's truck thank you very much for your videos in your magazines
I like it better this way than near the end of Richie owning it with everything black. Just my opinion.
Yeah me 2..
Has it ever been to Walcott truck show ? I'd love to see it !! BADASS TRUCK 👍 please keep it black. RIP Richie
I liked it better when it was murdered out with chrome tint. It truly looked unique that way

to make it legal

Anyone know if project 351(maroon W900) is still around?

Beautiful truck! How many times do you get stuck with that long catwalk? I’m sure some railroad crossings and hills make it difficult.
Who went by with the black long wheelbase Pete that matches Ritchie s?

is it true that richi acosta is dead ?
