My wife’s hyundai veracruz had the same issue yesterday. Truck started to decelerate on the highway. It got her home and I noticed eventually the brake lights we’re staying on. Look on floorboard and found broken pieces of plastic. I believe this is the fix for sure
Thank you! Our Hyundai brake lights stayed on the other day. I found the broken rubber piece on the floor, ordered the ones off Amazon from your link, and just fixed it. This was very helpful and saved me a lot of money. Thank you!
Great! Will keep it in mind if I have this come up. Became a fan of your channel because of the A/C fix. Only used the info to recharge my system. My question is that on my A/C system it will sometimes stop blowing cold and the remedy is to pull over and turn off car and start again and the A/C blows cold again. Any clues on what may be causing this?
I would start in this order . Check the freon level to make sure it is not low , check the relay as it cpuld be faulty. Also a faulty pressure switch can cause this type of issue. It almost seems like a relay or switch type issue , seeing how it cools immediately when turned off and back on. I hope this helps and thank you for watching.
Okay. I’ll use that. By the way, your Sonata takes 19.4 +/- .88 oz of T-134a. Read that the sticker has the wrong grams to ounces conversion. Mine took close to 21 oz. Relieved to discover that Hyundai made that error.

What does that have to do with the deceleration??
The pcm probably recognizes a fault and reduces power . Not sure why but something in the programming.
