@@michaelwong4303 Yes, Sir. the Fw-190 Anton was built as a low altitude multi role fighter bomber. But due to the radial engine, it lacked the ability to dogfight well at higher altitudes. It was not turbocharged till later versions that switch to an inline JUMO engine. This was a longer nose aircraft called the Dora-9. The Anton was used primarily to engage bombers while the ME-109s took on the escort. So once engaged, the FW-190 would dive to lower altitudes to disengage and escape. Due to the shear Size and weight of the P-47, if the Fw-190s would dive away from the P-47, the FW-190s would be an easy target. The P-47 outperformed at high altitudes, matched their performance at lower altitudes but also took away their escape. Thanks for your comment!
The Jug was not a dog fighter. The 190 was loaded down with cannon and relied upon 109s for protection as the went after bombers. It would help to know the date and variants involved here.
Great video! Finally a channel that gets straight to the point, and doesn't take 10 plus minutes. Content and graphics were spot on. I subscribed!
@@oveazeus1 Wow, I really appreciate the feedback. Thanks a lot for your support.
My two favorite WWII ETO fighters, the USAAF's P-47 Thunderbolt and the Luftwaffe's FW-190 Wurger!

Muscle car vs Beemer
P 47 - spray n pray - rumors say it worked quiet well
I would think the P47 had a slight overall superiority......

190s great till you got a 47 behind you
The Jug reasembles a
giant Grizzly bear.
Which, quite surprising-
ly, can outrun almost
anything.
