That’s a lot of saline solution. I know everyone has there way to reconstitute. Putting more in one area especially the forehead hurts and bruises more. I like 1:1 unless I need it to really spread more. Men I feel need that more than women, or just someone with a fuller face. Thanks for sharing!
The only issue with your reconstitution is that if you add more than 2.5ml saline it’ll give it more spread, so if you’re injecting the masseter for example it’ll disperse more & it could spread into the risorius muscle and can drop their smile 😬 and then it can tend to wear off faster since it’s slightly less potent!
I keep asking this question on pages so Im glad you covered it! I feel like years ago it was 1:1 ratio. This is alot of math for me =) but now all injectors are saying do 2.5ml dilution. Doesnt this lessen the effect? Maybe this is why my botox only lasts for 5-6 weeks? Plus when doing the lower face where you want less spread, wouldnt you want less dilution and more concentrated? Does it hurt to keep the whole face concentrated or do you want a little more spread on the forehead?? Thanks in advance!!
More on the math , how is the amount decided from pt or dr , or area being treated please explain just got a job offer in plastics want to make a great expression and be thorough
Hi Doctor! What do you recommend for # units to treat aggressive masseters? (Repeat offender breaking teeth and night guards). Client has tried 30 units per side in past with some result. Client stated 12 units per side did not last more than a week.
Great video thanks . Can you do this just using a syringe and if you don’t use the whole mixed up bottle how long can you keep it in the fridge for you use again. Thank you
Thanks for the video... very helpful! Question? If you use preservative free normal saline to reconstitute Botox, how long can you use that vial of Botox for?
A factory sealed bottle appears completely empty when getting it. You will see a dried white film at the bottom of the vial adhered to the glass, that is the botox. There should be no liquid at all in the bottle.
Manufacture instructions say it should be used within 24 hours after opening and mixing, I’ve used it a month after mixing on myself and it worked completely fine.
If I have 150 units of botox can u possibly explain to me and help me understand 0.5ml is where on a needle?can you post another and show us per mark on the needle is where?do I mix 4 1/2 ml of saline ?sorry after a head injury im a little slow lol..ty

I believe he said he adds an extra 0.1 to 0.2 ml per vial of Botox, I'm not sure if your scenario applies to this.
What syringe did you use to administrator the botox. Did I understand correctly that you are using a 3ml syringe of saline?
