- Treating the forehead with botulism toxin (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Nuceiva / Juveau) is one of first treatments learned in medical aesthetics. Yet one of the more complex areas to treat well, especially on the first visit with a new client. Hoping this tutorial helps you become a more confident injector.

Thank you 👌
Nice ❤

1 unit per injection? Must be a young person with weak muscles. I'm a nurse and I do a 9 point 2.5 units on myself. I do 5 across the mid forehead and then sprinkle 4 in between up near the hairline. Always turns out perfect, no drop or spock. Always enjoy your videos, Dan.
I bet! For men it typically takes 20-25 units on the forehead to achieve the same results as 10-14 units for women. We must look at the strength of the muscle and the amount of lines! Thanks for commenting
Hi there I want to do Botox to my face where is the safe place plz let me know plz I will wait your comment
Hello, could you tell me a possible pattern of injections for a client pre-Botox that only has wrinkles above the eyebrow arch when raised and nowhere else? Thank you, I love watching your videos, very informative.
Hi Dan. Thank you for your helpful video.
You posted another video of how to inject forehead. There are some differences in marking forehead.
Could you please clarify that.
Thank you
Fab 👍
Very comprehensive 👍
Thankyou for the great vid! I was injected with botox in my crows feet and I got these big long divots on either side of my nose when I smiled, running parallel to my tear trough. Why did this happen?
Where do you place Botox if the client requests an eyebrow lift? Thanks so much
❤❤😍😍😍thank
Great. Can u pls add how many unit to treat corrugator
And how to
I would start with 5 units to procures, and 5 units to each corrugator. You can go up to 30 units total for the glabella region
So when you’re doing the 10 point technique you’re placing 1U of botox per injection site. When you’re doing the 6 point technique, you’re applying 2U per site? Also what type of botox dilution are you using? Is it 2.5ml/100U?
I always spock. I have very short forehead, so people inject me super high in the 6 points. However 7 days after my brows are up, and yucky wrinkles jist above my lateral brows (that I didnt have before). Can 1 unit be injected into these wrinkles or, where should I be injected to lower brows not too low bs I do like brow lift but not extremely obvious, and my upper lids are getting droopy as soon as my tox wears off. So I am forced to keep raising the brows. But how can I raise them not so high but maybe angled towards the ears more instead of surprise look
Does this patterns are ok for mens ? Thanks !
Can you please share your preference to how you constitute you neurotoxin? I know the dilution matters to how far it spreads and where you decide to place your injection points. Thank you! I def am considering to sign up for your teachings! Happy you are doing them. :)
i started with 1/100 but i have found that in my frontalis i prefer to do a double to triple dilution of the toxin so start with 2ml/100mg then count out how many injection points you are going to do for the frontalis. After you have that number your going to add an 4-6 units of saline for each point and then mix, or tip upside down several times allowing the airbubble to move from side to side to help mix. then you will inject your normal 4 units plus what you added for each, into each dot that you marked it does not last as long as using a stronger dilution obviously but i never have flat eyebrows like i used to when i went to the medspa and i dont have the weird skin sags between injection spots like i got when i used the 1/100 dilution, you want it to reach the entire forehead muscle with this diluted mix so you get full coverage and also you want to go deep for these so your getting it into the muscle for the brow tails i do one unit of the either 1/100 or 2/100 above the brow and always make sure to go below it as well you can do three points underneath the tail, the last one ending at the very end of it not necessarily under it and eventually after treating your temporalis muscle regularly _the ones that give you the spock look _ you will make those lines go away also ive been using the hyaluron pen for filling those stubborn lines. works like a dream

Thnx. Very good pointers👍
I don't think my hubby will like the Spock look🤨 lol
@@AprilLovesDIY Hi April. I just came across your reply on this video. I have a question. I assume you're periodically using Hualuron Pen, especially on stubborn superficial lines. Where else would you recommend this technique on the face, considering the safety fact as well? Thank you.
Hi you're video:s are extremely informative, just wondering can anyone build a tolerance to Botox and it stops working. Also I want to start working with xeomin, is it the same reconstitution as Botox.
Yes and yes!
What about area between 👂 ears and forehead right and left side both.......
Would it be alright to ask you a more specific question about a client's frontalis?
Can we make hair transplant in frontal forhead wrinkels it's safe or it will be look naturals
Hi could you upload a link for me to buy the full access please thanks I can’t find it

Have u ever seen botox causing nasal bridge swelling? Botox was injected on glabella 4 units on procerus?
Yes, less than 4% of the time temporary swelling of the eyelids, procerus or above the eyebrows can happen. It usually wears off by 2-3 wks.
Would you pls provide the link here to join it? I couldn’t find it sorry

Hi, how would one achieve a *depression* of the eyebrows with botox? I know it has to be injected into the frontalis muscle, but if it's higher than 2cm above the eyebrows, no results will be noticed in that case? If it's less than 2cm above, will the eyebrows depress but also appear the risk of paralysing the levator palpebrae superioris which will cause eyelid ptosis? So how would one achieve only eyebrow ptosis but not eyelid ptosis? I want to get this procedure done by a professional but I want to make sure they understand what I want to get done and make sure they indeed do it to lower the eyebrows. My eyebrows are naturally high and that is not attractive in a male.
In your case, you want a little ptosis of the eyebrows. I would place 2 units 1.5cm above each eyebrow. Careful though, your upper eyelids might look hooded.

Is your forehead safety zone within the lateral limbus line (I read that in a book) and 2 cm above the supraorbital ridge or is it within the temporal crest and 2 cm above the supraorbital ridge?
How can I join please, it’s really frustrating because I cannot see the JOIN button🙈
The JOIN button is found right next to where it says subcribed
Hi Dan, can I achieve your eyebrow shape using botox?
hi Dane, isn't that too lateral doing botox? The last time I did inject toxin that way, 1side eyebrow of my patient increase 😁.
Look at the lines. If the wrinkles don’t go all the way to the temporal crest, then you don’t have to inject that far lateral!
@@danestheticsmedical wouldn’t it be better to inject higher on the lateral one?
Dr, I do not have the button Join next to Subscribe :(
