I think it was brilliant showing the cut apart of the emissions muffler 😊 Great information on how they operate from inside view. Then being able to resort to the unit like it new. So glad that a shop can clean these up, then rebuild them so they can be used again 😊 instead of just recycling a big piece of metal. That those units can be rebuilt I always wondered about the build up of engine waste in particular. Can they be removed.
The track adjustment is informative 😊 It is so neat how you can use an excavator own dipper and bucket to help remove parts on a track system 😊 they are such a versatile machine to help remove parts for repairs 😊 I love your step by step of repairs 😊 I'm a nerd that way. Love to see how things work, and what part wear😊😊
Today the snap on truck randomly came by the shop for the first time ever didnt buy any thing yet and already got a free beer opener with dark blue hard handle. True legends
Thanks for making these videos. It helped me pick a carrier pathway to become a heavy machinery mechanic thank you for the insight and inspiration to do this.
When does the WOOD from the House Demo. Go after its put in dumpsters 😊 I ran a CAT that size filling dumpster from yard tree waste after we had a big wind storm. It was FUN. Pulling pile, then lifting bucket loads into dumpsters. The big Gravel yard in my area, has a fire wood separating yard in the Pit off to the side. One of the workers in Pit, cuts up the larger wood chucks into firewood 😊 He has a huge firewood square Neat clean stack of wood ready to sell. 😊
Yet another great video. Great job guys. Watching y'all work on this stuff is encouraging me more and more to work on construction heavy equipment. Till next time.
we're trying to get more stuff like this that is niche so glad you enjoyed it! If there's any other process or component you want us to look into, let us know!
I enjoy watching your videos. I mean i have a qualified DM but i only have like 2years post experience. So yes your videos sometimes help alot. Thanks keep up the good work.👌 All the way from SA🇿🇦
I went from working on semis and buses to working on HD for about 6 months. Terrible work enviroment in both the companies i worked for, wish it was like this crew. Working on forklifts now, huge pay increase going from diesel
Just did a undercarrage with that style of torque wrench, after we broke our old one. its really nice but the directional head tripped me out for a second. 600 ft-lbs woulda been so much easier to hit if it was needed on anything other than the rollers, frustrating week.
Rent1 I’d most likely rent a 299D for land clearing, this is actually the first time I have seen emissions systems taken apart, they’re definitely complex
You know what would be nice? A list of tools needed to do repairs of excavators. We are down in Colombia and just purchased 3 new excavators and the dealer really has no idea what we might need. It's our first equipment so we are a bit lost on what to get.
we're actually working on that with FortisHD right now!! It'll go up as a blog post on their website and we'll look into making a video as well. For now, we suggest watching some of the truck tours we post to get an idea of what you'll need. ua-cam.com/play/PLhksXZOOzRLlxT0IMiY5NhkcaLODuRQGL.html
if the reflow guy got just a little bit bigger scale he could set his flow test machine on the scale and just tare the scale skipping the step of having to weigh everything on a different scale
You would need like 6 of these and those hammer drills to take a house down where I live and it would take days. Full concrete. Why are american houses made of wood and paper?
