Learn how not to get tricked by jewelry shop lights and how to choose a high light performing diamond like a pro.
We share with you one of the most important tool when evaluating the brilliance, fire and scintillation of a diamond; ASET (Angular Spectrum Evaluation Tool) scope.
The ASET scope is a good way to show unbiasedness in evaluating your diamond's light performance. We strongly recommend to use it before purchasing your diamond engagement ring.
As jewellers ourselves, we would never buy a diamond without first analyzing it under the ASET scope. Learn how you can obtain the most information about your diamond from the ASET scope, and its limitations.

Thank you for telling me these things I’m in the process of buying and at a jewellery store on the weekend , they would not tell show me the asset scope , or the cut quality , only saying it’s one of the highest in the store . It’s not a common jeweller he has a good reputation in Australia. I was disappointed with the lack of info only trying to make me happy with saying it’s rare to find a triple excellent ! Just wondering how you went with your diamond 💎 purchase? After I'd seen and been educated by Jann Paul diamond educational videos on UA-cam, I longer accepted triple excellent diamonds 💎 as the best 😆. I know right!
In the end, we ended up ordering from Jann Paul and I'm very happy with my Decagon! Yet to do a UA-cam review of that. It is the epitome of a diamond. The whole process was easy and very thorough. Casey from Jann Paul who is the guy in this diamond education videos was the man himself who sourced my Decagon. My decagon is a very "high light performing" diamond and has plenty of "fire and scintillation" just as they claim. It's true, I own one.

@@chayanneharihi9677. Hello! I did get a diamond but at the time they didn’t have a diamond at the size that I wanted . I worked with Casey too , but wasn’t able to find one . I went to a diamond dealer and found a very beautiful stone that I’m in love with . I’m sure you’re decagon is just magic and congratulations to you . The next diamond I get ( which will be somewhat smaller size ) will be a decagon I’m so great full to Jann Paul for everything they have done . Cheers 💎
