It's wonderful to see Raween/Shanu together. They bring the best out of each other and their acting skills are getting better. It's time to see them staring in a movie or another teledrama soon.
It's a shame that most of Raween's fans are not given a chance to see his improvements as a actor. And above all, it will be a terrible mistake if he is not given more opportunities to challenge his skills further and discover his potential. Raween got inborn talents and personality to portrait and navigate characters beyond being an adolescent lover. Of course, there is nothing wrong with that type of characters. I have the feeling that his DI character is over romanticized and that romanticism overshadowing his natural talents and skills. It's may be great for the publicity but for the great talents he got, he need more complex characters to play. KISS is more complex, still he could do much more than that if he is given a chance. I wish seniors and expertise in the field will consider this sooner than later.
For this regard I always blame Derana. Its clearly visible that they have caged Raween. They are not letting him go out of Derana. Let alone teledramas, I think they are not even letting him go to any tv program in other private channels except for Rupavahini. If Kiss was a teledrama, I'm 100% sure, Derana wouldnt let him to do that. Derana is trying to fully use him for their popularity. Not even giving Raween a proper chance as an actor or a singer. If you listen to Derana fm, they are not even playing any of Raween's songs there ever. They ony want to use his popularity now and they make sure that no other channel gets the opportunity of using him. This affects Raween's career. His best time will be spent on Deweni Inima only. Its true that Raween is here because of Derana. But that doesnt mean that they can control his entire career like this. Raween always has that gratitude and respect towards them, but he should be set free to do other work

Today even at leset tv drma also telecast in 5;dayas or weekend drama both days.
