It's amazing that Dhani not only looks and sounds like his father, he also sings with the same "clinched teeth" as George did. Much like Julian Lennon is is to John, Dhani reminds us of the previous generation, yet at the same time, adds something totally unique to the table.
Anyone feel like Dhani in his little white wig is reminiscent of Dave Grohl in the video for In Bloom, wayyyyyyy back in the day? Love ya, Dhani, no one's rocked being a cowboy better since.... Well.... your dad. Everything you do is brilliant, way to rock the 2010 Trip, I so dig it.
Dhani you've made it! You are a musician on your own. Dad was great but you are making your own path in the right way, the other kids (and we all do know what I mean) are not achieving what you've done! So you must be on your way to to face another day. Hare Krishna.
If I had a nickel for every video/picture/basically anything about dhani Harrison where someone has to mention his father.... Last time I checked, this is the band thenewno2 and not the "lol hi my dad was a beatle make some more comparisons! It doesn't annoy me!!!" band Anywho, awesome song and great band. You are here is such a good album!
My goodness, he's really good. Really, really good. I'm impressed. George lives on and Dhani is such a nice kid in interviews. Way to leave the world a better place George. You certainly have done that my friend.
I like this, and I like his guitar style because it is different, as is this band. They are totally new and unique, and I hope they make it really big really soon. Rock NEEDS something new like this. I plan to check them out live in the next two weeks at one of their free Hollywood shows.
Yeah, same here. I first came across Dhani & his music because I love George's music. But now You Are Here has been playing over and over again in my room, and I do like this album a lot! I think he's got a lot of potential. Good work, Dhani :)
I love this band sooooo much. I listen to the You are here album and Live a Lie (song) every day on the bys before and after school :) Rock on thenewno2
I don't see how one could compare this music to that of his Father's. It's modernized, to say the least but, it follows the same type of sound that I like, whether or not you like it yourself. And here I sit, waiting for EP 002 to be released. HINT HINT...
Oli's got some mad directing skills, Dhani's got some crazy good looks, and they've both got some intensely awesome musical skills. Together they create thenewno2 which is just flipping sweet.
This is one of the most exciting new bands out there. They are going to make a huge splash in the world of Rock and Roll. They combine British pop with L.A. Alt-rock with something that cannot be defined. I especially like this video because it visually does what the music does. As far as when it was filmed, I would say some time in early 2007. I will not compare Dhani Harrison to his dad. They're both great, as is Oli Hecks, but I'm sure his dad is proud, and is smiling from beyond.
I think the first line of the chorus is: The way you're perceived is regal And in the second verse instead of "a process" it sounds to me like "impulses". Of course I have no idea if either is correct. That's just what I am hearing.
I think he is a bloody genius not saying this because he is George Harrison's son. He has his own opinions. I think people forget he is human and he has his own view points. What his song promotes is democracy. He spoke his mind take it or leave it. Everybody pokes fun at different cultures quirks. British people have more of an irony viewpoint as a Canadian I do understand it. Listen to the words don't just pay attention to the video that's what Dhani is also saying listen and make your own viewpoints don't be brainwashed. Again individualism! Amen!
unfortunately you'r perfectly right, me too had heard this run before but was unable to pin point where, no matter he is young and all the planet love him, it is in the Harrisson a little bit habit to...no matter my Sweet Lord is much more better than Is so Fine finally...
dhani you are wonderful and i totally agree with the message. btw, you can tell when this video was made just by watching dhani by the chevron signs...lol...(and back then we complained about those prices being too high, look at them now!)
Dhani's name is pronounced similarly to the name 'Danny' but with an aspirated 'd'. He is named after two notes of the Indian music scale, 'dha' and 'ni'. Dhani also means rich in Hindi both in a monetary and non-monetary sense.
I never had troubles by recognizing who were singing between John and Julian, but if I don´t watch Dahni (which of course is the carbon copy of his dad), I could perfectly say it was George singing. Really amazing. Anyway, in spite of that, it´s a good song.
If you ever wondered what the Foo Fighters would have been if they were fronted by the Dark Horse now you know. Great music, I can't wait for them to release a full album.
My father is listening to George Harrison while I listen to Dhani Harrison. Funny. But I'm a huge George fan too of course, he is my favorite Beatle ;)
All I could think when watching this video was "Man I wish gas was $2.73 a gallon again". Dhani in the cowboy get up makes him look so much like George from the Rubber Soul album.
I've been in love with thenewno2 since they were brand new, same goes for this song. ^_^ Also a dream I have is to do a concert with Dhani and Olie someday ohh someday
go Dhani, go Dhani, I just got one of the last copies of the cd it's great! Nice music video as well! Best of luck with your music. I hope the album comes out soon :)
i just did a google image search of dhani. i was looking through the pictures and saw a black and white one of him. after a second look, i saw it was george. they look so much alike it's scary.
Holy crap. It's so amazing to see him, it's like watching a bit of his dad. They sound so similar (of course George is his own brilliant self) but it's so obvious Dhani got all those brilliant genes and talent. Glee.
You put it on UA-cam, so you know it's going someplace. Great idea fella's. Love the lyrics & the video's wild. Let's have that album, k? We Love You Guys!
It's amazing that Dhani not only looks and sounds like his father, he also sings with the same "clinched teeth" as George did. Much like Julian Lennon is is to John, Dhani reminds us of the previous generation, yet at the same time, adds something totally unique to the table.
If Beatles played indie rock it'd be more or less llike this
What is a clinched teeth
~you don't fool us, we know you're evil. and your face should be illegal.~
I LOVE that line. This song is fantastic!
Is it bad if I'm genuinely freaked out at how much Dhani both looks and sounds exactly like his father?
+Brickmaster4496 i know right?
and so many of the other beatles sons (James McCartney) play lame pop. Dhani doesn't, he's great!
Daniel Marmer Sean Lennon has some cool songs but they all pail to what Dhani has done
PALE not pail!
They pall much artly!
So cool that both George and son wrote songs attacking the media.
I love the messages in their songs. This one's priceless.
Dhani you've made it! You are a musician on your own. Dad was great but you are making your own path in the right way, the other kids (and we all do know what I mean) are not achieving what you've done! So you must be on your way to to face another day. Hare Krishna.
17 years ago I was 14. I used to listen to this album before falling asleep at night. Can't believe that was so long ago. Still a huge fan years later
Harrison has his father's, George, genes for song writing. Great to hear new music with lyrics that communicate something of value.
He sounds just like his father, which is an honor. God Bless, Dhani.
I love the beatles but I love dhani as a separate person and I love him for being him, not being George's son and he's got great talent.
Me too!
Me 3!
If I had a nickel for every video/picture/basically anything about dhani Harrison where someone has to mention his father....

I like this, especially the vocal harmonies. At times I thought I was looking at George.

I love this song and the year is 2022 and this song means more to me as each year passes.
Great lyrics! Great sound! Great band! Great name ("The Prisoner" is my favorite television show ever)!
The Beatles are awesome, George Harrison is my favourite, and Dhani's music is something new im experiencing, at the moment. It's AWESOME :D
This is the best thing that i've seen! The lyrics are so true! Amazing
when you listen to it you might think that George is alive... keep singing Dhani.
Ha - with the wig he looks like George when he was the interviewer in 'The Rutles' during the demise of 'apple' segment.
had no idea he was was GH's kid, but as soon as he started singing i say to my wife, "they sound like the Beatles." pretty cool
Hanso Foundation, huh? I'll look it up.
Great tip. Didn't notice the symbol. Looking it up too.
Thx.
;-)
Aw, Dhani looks and sounds so much like George! Great song! George would be proud of his little boy! RIP Georgie!
I think the first line of the chorus is:
The way you're perceived is regal

gr8 song, gr8 artist :)
love this comment of yours... Amen-OM-Hare Krishna... and all that
Thank you I think people forget Dhani is his own man. It's shameful they don't recognize this. George would be very proud of his son though!
It's just too bad people will always just see him as George Harrison from The Beatles son.
I love this song, it has a good message and concept . Thenewno2 is great ... LOV OLLIE AND DHANI
i love the lyrics & the music. way to go! hopefully they can get us out of this slump of bad music these days.
unfortunately you'r perfectly right, me too had heard this run before but was unable to pin point where, no matter he is young and all the planet love him, it is in the Harrisson a little bit habit to...no matter my Sweet Lord is much more better than Is so Fine finally...
ooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
*OOOO*
like a george!!!!
your voice!!!
i love that!!!
and great song!
dhani you are wonderful and i totally agree with the message. btw, you can tell when this video was made just by watching dhani by the chevron signs...lol...(and back then we complained about those prices being too high, look at them now!)
Oh my gosh, Dhani is gorgeous. He's also very talented. He's just like his dad
Fantastic sound, great video. You guys rock! Well done! :)
I keep coming back to this one, it's a favorite. 😊❤
Not bad for a gardener's son eh?
Bob - lmfao
Not bad at all.
What is your problem, talking about George Harrison as a gardener, when he created some of the BEST SONGS CREATED.
Apple falling from the tree ? not far.
Creative and a true message ~ thank you ~
hehehehe.. second time commenting. i just can't get enough of these guys. (especially dhani) awww.. he is just so cute!
Beautiful song! Congratulations! From Argentina, with love. Peace! :)
Dhani's name is pronounced similarly to the name 'Danny' but with an aspirated 'd'. He is named after two notes of the Indian music scale, 'dha' and 'ni'. Dhani also means rich in Hindi both in a monetary and non-monetary sense.
This needs to become the official theme song for Inforwars!
OMG!!!! Dhani sooooooo fantastic...like his father =)...I love them!!!!
Man! This song is Brilliant! Had to download this one. Good job Dhani.
Dhani Harrison is a very talented and hansome man. :) His music is really good. X
Wow! Talented...love your story...hope people are listening. I know I am. George would be so proud.
you guys ROCK. hugs and kisses, kisses and hugs
I never had troubles by recognizing who were singing between John and Julian, but if I don´t watch Dahni (which of course is the carbon copy of his dad), I could perfectly say it was George singing. Really amazing. Anyway, in spite of that, it´s a good song.
ohoho your song is very nice i liked. greetings =)
i think someone cloned george...
Nah mate really good genetics from both parents !!!
@@jasminekoidhis2893 nah its cloning
love it Dhani!! You've put your own spin into your music...and through that you've made your dad proud!! Woot!
so great to see your video here, love it. Can't wait to get your EP.
Such a great song! And awesome band :)
Their songs are slowly growing on me.
omg! When the video started, my jaw dropped because Dhani sounds SO MUCH like his dad! I bet his dad is very proud.. RIP
I forgot how much I liked this song.
dude I'm really feeling this band, Dhani is really making a name for himself, instead of just another "son of"
really nice voice for pop ... nice harmonies. just like the beat's themselves.
Seeing them live tomorrow with Wolfmother, and The Heartless Bastards, should prove to be a fairly epic concert. Can't wait to see these guys.
Looks like George ..Music & Video are very good.
Looks like George !!!!
talent abounds in young Dhanni !
Bless your soul Dhanni .
Loving watching this boy grow up!! Keep it up Dhani!
I love it! everything: the music, the lyrics, the video and, of course, Dhani is great!
Dhany, you are the ONE!!Great song!!
I LOVE this song! Dhani Rocks and the music video is really cool so I think thats a good combination.
Looks good to me! Very good job by the way!
This song should have millions of views. Very underrated!
It's young george's voice in the xxi century. Great, and the song is very intelligent.
Eu adorei :) Parabéns, Dhani!
All I could think when watching this video was "Man I wish gas was $2.73 a gallon again". Dhani in the cowboy get up makes him look so much like George from the Rubber Soul album.
Can't stop listening to this song! it's freakin awesome
.........Its real music! thank you!
:D someone makes great music nowadays
its Dhani :D
Great song and video. Thanks for turning me on to it!!
Please post a higher quality version; can't get enough!
Dhani's the man! Catchy song and deep lyrics, what more could you ask for?
I've been in love with thenewno2 since they were brand new, same goes for this song. ^_^
Also a dream I have is to do a concert with Dhani and Olie someday ohh someday
I like it!! Dhani is his own..but it really has a George just joined Nirvana sound to it.
go Dhani, go Dhani, I just got one of the last copies of the cd it's great! Nice music video as well! Best of luck with your music. I hope the album comes out soon :)
Lovin' this band--keep up the good work boyz!
Jonathan Sadoff ROCKS!
This song is stuck in my head! I love it! Best new song around! and a great dig at ole dummy Bush!!
i just did a google image search of dhani. i was looking through the pictures and saw a black and white one of him. after a second look, i saw it was george. they look so much alike it's scary.
Great song and performance chaps!
I like the fact Dhani doesn't try to imitate George's vocal stylings. Certainly inherited his dad's songwriting ability, particularly lyric-writing.
Holy crap. It's so amazing to see him, it's like watching a bit of his dad. They sound so similar (of course George is his own brilliant self) but it's so obvious Dhani got all those brilliant genes and talent. Glee.
Tremendous video... This apple has landed right next to dad's tree, in spirit, voice, looks and attitude and also sense of humor. Dad must be proud.
Aw, the good ole days when gas was under 3 dollars a gallon.
Wonderful Dhani !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hare krsna
you need to tour man......Your music is great...pls post more vid's
