Sir I'm an arts student preparing for consulting. Sir how to prepare for case interviews as I don't have fundamental knowledge of management like marketing, corporate finance, operations etc. Then how can I prepare, which books or study material should I prefer that starts from the basic in easy Language. Sir Please reply
This is quite helpful as a case example. But maybe could you please give illustration about your framework and maybe the calculation also? SInce maybe it's quite monoton. Overall, that was great!
Is it okay to bring in my own knowledge into the case interview? For example, I had some prior knowledge about the battery, I know Tesla has 3 big battery supplier Panasonic LG. and CATL, and Telsa is also trying to building their own battery in house. Is it okay for me to confirm these information with the interviewer, or should I base my solution on the information provided by the interviewer solely?
I think you should confirm it to the interviewer if there are more than 1 supplier,
because he might want to make it harder by providing that there is only 1 supplier.
I wish you would go over the case yourself and not have someone else sloving it, since the person might take the wrong approach and contaminate our own thinking process. It would also be more straightforward and shorter video
Yes great point - especially since this girl was a beginner and took a strange approach immediately jumping to other costs with her explanation that she didn't know about batteries...
