    I was suffering from low back pain for a few weeks when I came across your low back care video I thought I would give it a try. I have been doing this routine now for 2 1/2 weeks almost every day. I feel amazing. I thought I would give it a try on some clients with back pain. They too feel much better and have found the connecting to the core muscles. Thank you many times over.

    I'm so glad I have found your channel. I'm 3 years post op for a spinal fusion and I have been struggling to do a reformer workout that doesn't put my back in flexion. I thought I was going to break up with my reformer... Now I can't wait to progress from teaching mat to the reformer. At last. Thank-you!

    I have a single red spring (heavy), two green springs (mid strength) and two yellow springs (light). I’d like to follow your workout...what springs should I be using please?

      I would love to assist. Is there a specific exercise you are asking about for spring resistance?

      @@FunctionPilates I was watching the “lower back care” session and I’ve also watched your “beginner workout” I am a home user and have my own reformer...a wooden one pretty similar to yours. I have spinal stenosis, a L4 - L5 collapsed, also a C3 - C4 disc protrusion and just for good measure Charcot-Marie, Tooth Disease (CMT) {nothing wrong with my teeth, CMT is a peripheral neuopathy} which causes nerve loss, muscle wasting, loss of feeling and loss of balance. The reformer is the best exercise for me as I don’t have to rely on balance for standing and I’ve found using the reformer helps me relearn my balance.

      @@mbailey2774 i also have severe PN,including l5-s1stenosis&sciatica working out at a gym is no fun because i have to walk from my car to the gym and due a 1/12 hr session all the while being off balance fearing falling and having a serious injury.I also have a reformer that i havent used in quite a while.Good luck to both of us your post and the video inspires me.

    Your red springs are strong or medium? And your blue one is light?

    • @FunctionPilates
      @FunctionPilates  Рік тому +1

      Green is heavy
      Red is medium
      Blue is light
      Yellow is extra light

      Thank you for asking this because it wasn't making sense that we don't want a heavy push in the legs with the springs she chose. Now it makes sense!
      In our studio:
      Red heavy
      Green medium
      Blue light
      Yellow extra light
