New players maining KJ can build a bad habit of being overly passive, Brimstone is more beginner-friendly than Omen, and other than Reyna, the next simplest duelist to play is Phoenix
many kj player didn't understand how to provide value for the team through their abilities like bad turret or alarm placement so i think it's not that easy for a beginner
As a new player 1 month into the game, i surprise KAYO not in this, like his abilities pretty straight forward + easy to use, the ult kinda make your location obvious but its can also serve as a bait
killjoy is a good beginner agent, but a very hard to master charecter, since alot of her playstyle is based off instinct, and you need to really know how to predict and read a round to get the most out of your abilities and when to be aggresive passive when to lurk when to anchor, so pick her up if your new, trust me your instincts and game sense will grow the more you play her
Gekko is simple to use. I'm surprised he's not here. He gains info from his flash and ult, has a concuss ability/plant/defuse ability and to top it off, a molly. He can both set-up plays and gain information allowing for versatility on thw initiator role and if the duelist is having a bad time, you can step up to the role since gekko has his own flash for entry. It takes 3 braincells to understand his kit and allows for players to learn the value of utility while being forgiving since he can just pick up most of his abilities. He's also a bit versatile where he can passively help make plays or make one himself. Gekko is an agent I'd highly recommend players when picking up the initiator role or the game in general.
Well YOU are the one who doesnt understand how to play gekko then... even if hes easy to get value out of, if you want to MASTER him you need to know how to cycle his abillities, his flash especially or retriving his ult for example
@@befil3621 much like any agent, you need to play the hours to master them but as far as i'm concerned, gekko's on the easier side of mastery compared to other agents due to his easier to use ability set compared to most and lineups aren't the most important when using him compared to alot of agents. and second of all, while recycling his util is the most important thing but you're missing another thing, not everytime you should also recycle util, there are times that you need just go and ignore your abilities because time is of the ssence. an example of this would be on lotus, assuming you've busted all your util on what seems to be an a take but then they go through link and start planting b, instead of coming in to retrieve the blind, you want to thrash and gain as much info as possible on enemy whereabouts and make their plant a little more awkward to deal with. third of all you haven't even touched upon his infamous wingman blind combo, if done correctly, not only do you gain info but outright cripple enemies lurking a corner. idc if i'm only bronze 3/silver 1 rn and that i've dropped him in favor of playing the controller role, doesn't change the fact that he's on the easier side of mastering agents even at his own role, compare him to kay o where you have to study lineups, not to mention kay/o can also blind teammates much more easier compared to gekko. i think i've made my point clearer now

As someone whos gold but has more than 700 hours in comp only (but we dont talk about it) i can asure you that gekko is harder than most of the agents in the game... his abillity to recycle his abillities has almost infinite possiblities and comboing his abillities correctly could be tricky but very powerful and beneficial. Lastly, since, as you mentioned "mastering" an agent can take hundreds or thousands of hours learning a reasonable amount of lineups should take less than 30 hours and even if you learn a ton of them it wont take more than 70 hours OBSOULUTELY MAX- which is a small part of the time it takes to master an agent so its not a major skill...
Only raze satchel is the only hard part for raze so sometimes raze is easier for low rank only if you don't include satchel raze is easier than pheonix ik pheonix is prob 1 of the most easiest along with Reyna but raze just throws nade to clear corner that's it boombot the same

It takes time to learn a good flash new comers will always flash team mates and most of the time they dont know how to capitalise their own flash and raze ult is more easy to use ,and a nade and boom bot is so much better than a heal and walls
Who let him cook with the omen? Omen as a smoker needs an incredible amount of multitasking, awareness and game sense/knowledge. Yes, none of his abilities are mechanically hard to use, but his play style is one of the more complex ones to do well.
Omen? what? brimstone is by far the easiest controller to play, placing omens smokes is not that easy, and im saying that as someone that tried to play omen and completely failed while brim is sooo easy to play. Raze? Sova? Raze requires a lot of mechanical skill for satchels alone, sova requires a ton of map knowledge, to play Gekko right you have to think about how to use ur abilities and not just throw ur flash into 5 ppl to never be picked up again bc its now in enemy territory or just let wingman run into a site with 3 enemies trying to plant cuz its easily shot down and boom u lost the spike etc etc IMO these are the easiest: Sage for sentinels, Fade for initiator , Brim for controller, Reyna for Duelist
I'd rate kayo over fade for ease of use, he's literally a generic fps-er and whilst there are lineups you can learn for extra value, you can do great just throwing util in the general direction.

KJ and I didnt get along. Until I tried Reyna in my first few games in compe. From 5kills using KJ to my first MVP on my 2nd game in iron compe using Reyna😵💫
just play viper then usually soloQ teammates either need a sentinel or a smoker, and viper sorta fills the sentinel role, while also being a smoker herself
KJ is not easy for new players, there is so much to know about placement and communicating intel. Im brand new to the game and she's the first I got and I struggle so much with what to place where and why

I am new to game like played only 4 days but how is killjoy good like if enemy don't need to come in it doesn't seem good .... I have seen players putting things near choke points but enemy goes to other side and kill from back idk doesn't seem that good
okay, im tryna be genuinely helpful here, im a ascendant kj main and was watching this for fun, kj is amazing at keeping space, just because people dont go to your site, doesnt mean your utility is useless, she can hold the space alone, half of the map can be held by her utility meaning your teammates can lean to the other side, and her turret is like a another player, you can watch long angles safely with it, making sure people dont get up close without you knowing which is insanely valueable, she is a easy to learn hard to master type agent but very very very good
@@toasty7685 makes sense but in some maps it feels useless to me specially if you are on defending side (thats not the bombing one i think) ..... The green wall girl feels more useful since enemy get blocked from 1 side
@@iliketurtles9719 viper (the green wall lady) is very good at keeping space in her own different way, her util cuts of sight lines and makes these little pockets to walk up and hide in, understanding that her wall and smokes allow people to walk up close and get into surprise corners crates space in a different way, and even just the threat of her wall being there can be enough to stop a push cause someone could be super close, and she's really really really good s punishing a sloppy team, if they don't clear there corners and take her utility seriously

Some of these are just no. Skye should def not be there.. Playing skye as a beginner makes u literally completely useless to the team. Ur just gonna be teamflashing/throwing awful useless flashes in general, not get any output with ur dog... only thing that is nice is that u can heal.
i went from silver 3 to plat 2 by instalocking reyna, its just your luck man, and i was match mvp for a lot of the games, ive also got accused of smurfing a few times lol

If you don't really know line ups then all Brim molly is useful for is blocking off certain chokepoints for a certain period of time. Also since his smokes don't regen if you burn all of them just for your team to rotate or not push in site at all then pretty much get no value and become useless. Which in this case for me most people don't really push and bait their whole team in my elo.

reyna can dominate. Silver/gold elo : reyna instalock and bot frag 99% of the time
