Very informative video...thank you for it.
You're welcome 😊
Did you water after transplanting them into the pot or do you wait for a few days after they've recovered from shock?
Is this in tropical lowland? What strawberry variety did you planted?
So plant in September to get fruits in January
What variety of Strawberry is it?
That I would like to know as well. I personally have the "Everbearing or Wild strawberries" but I want another larger variety to add to my garden.
I have planted a Strawberry tree in container from April, i bought it bare foot at a Agricultural show, it is beautiful and sending out alot of runners but up untill now it doesn't produce any fruit.
I really do not know what is going on
Hi Maxine. If you bought a young strawberry plant, then naturally it will put out lots of leaves before it starts to flower and fruit. Other reasons for the lack of fruits would be too much shade, water or fertilizer. The variety may also be a factor in terms of the season it comes into bearing.
My advice would be to make sure the plant gets at least 6 hours of direct sunshine. Do not to overwater or over-fertilize. Don't let it get too bushy, if it is, trim out the extra runners.
Try to be patient and give it 2 more bearing cycles (6 months) before you give up and try another variety🙏🌈
@@thelmamccatty9181 thank you so much for your advice, i bought my Strewberry plant in April, it is in direct sunlight but we get rain every day so maybe it is getting too much water.
