In separately excited DC Machine keeping the excitation same; does the potential drop and current in a particular coil also remains same?? (and the potential drop and current in the load depends on the connection of the coils.)
Remember that two consecutive coils with opposite polarity (though series connected) will not allow the flow of any current, as the two extreme ends of these series connected coils will be at the same potential.
@@DrAfrozAlam Yes I agree But here, three consecutive coils are connected in series after removing two consecutive brushes. So there will be net emf induced according to me. If I am wrong, please correct me.
Further, we can't show the direction of current in any coil side of the armature winding in a direction against the polarity induced in it. Current in an individual coil can only flow if it can be collected by the brushes (at its two ends) connecting the coil with the load. For more detailed analysis, again see the developed diagram explained in the previous lectures.

Since armature is closed winding and after removing two consecutive brushes, you open the winding.
Have these windings no current?
Yes, these windings will now have no current as currents can only be collected by the brushes at the ends.
