I really like it and love it...i remember my college days and your getting refresh my memory..thank you very much,im.from philippines and working in K.S.A...ive like to hear more vedios from you especially with interpole, shunt winding and field connections...compound dc motor...thank you verymuch..id like to know more about neutral zoning of a dc motor.
The current directions for these two extra brushes (optional) have already been marked in the diagram. You can also verify it with the various polarities induced in the coil sides lying under different poles.
Dear friend, thank you very much for this video and your patience to explain. I saw videos on rotor armatures wave winding and I believe they use 2 copper wires to make the complete wave winding, so can we make this type of winding with only one wire to make waves untill the end or is it more complicated ? Hope it's clear, thank you
Many thanks, it helps me a lot. Please tell me also why are you always talking about "DC machines" ? This type of wave winding is not the same as we find in AC angle grinder for example ?
@@DrAfrozAlam Sorry I used bad term, I wanted to say "segment" not "slot". I'm talking about commutator segment not armature slot. Can we choose any commutator segment to start with first coil ? Thank you very much
@@DrAfrozAlam Thank you very much again ! I have one another and last question please. If I rewind some armature with same number of turns but with big wire gauge, what will happen ? I suppose it will be better because armature will be colder ? Thanks
Hi verry informative video , im about to rewind a 24v 2200W PMDC motor, and i am unsure of the windings and the complexity of them, it has a 17 slots armature, and a 51slot commutator, 3 windings in every slot, a total of 18 wires per slot + second layer, and is connected to 3 slots on the commutator, winding 1 and 3 is only as a u, winding 2 has 1 turn. the motor has low speed 1300 Rpm, my guess is some of this is to control the speed, this motor has 4 brushes, and strangly they cover only 2 commutator segments, 3 slots on the commutator is about 15mm, the brush is only 10mm wide. no diagram exsist for this engine, manufactered by Thrige Titan 1984 Denmark, and is now a new company TT electric in France, but they dont have any documents for this engine. do you have an idea how it is wound, and how i can find the corrrect pitch. Regards Otto Olsen

You are most welcome
perfect sir you are best lecturer greetings from Turkey
Muslims are the best are think they are the most educated, Sir you're A genius what a beautiful explanation .
Great sir
what a wonderful explanation of such complicated diagram....🔥🔥💥⚡👍👍
your drawings and your font is very nice masha Allah
Excellent lecture Sir. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great lecture, sir
This video simplified the complex diagram thank you sir
Very clear explanation sir.
Excellent
Keep it up sir .... and serve the Nation .....
Thanks a lot dear
Very good explanation sir.
good explanation,sir
Wonderful explanation.
Jazakallah
Nice video sir
Very interesting
Thank u sir.....
Very clearly explained..jazakallah khair
... Sir I have one doubt regarding placing another 2 brushs and their current directions...
The current directions for these two extra brushes (optional) have already been marked in the diagram. You can also verify it with the various polarities induced in the coil sides lying under different poles.
Thanks for your reply sir . ..jazakallah
Subhan Allah Thank Sir

great 👍
How can I draw the developed diagram for 4 poles , 7 segments armature using wave winding?
Nice
Thank u sir
great lecture sir
Sir how can we know the current direction or current entering and leaving how to count north Pole conductor and south Pole conductor
👍
Thank you sir. How do you choose the slot where to start with coil 1 please ? is this important or not ? Thank you again
You can start from any point as it is a closed loop winding. You will always end at the point from where you started.
Thanks for the comment.

Yes, we can start with any commutator segment.
