I'm just blown away by the history you are able to hold in you hand, they just talk to you, don't they?! So precious, the innocence of long ago. Thankyou so much for sharing these wonderful treasures!
Thanks for taking the time to present your favorites! What great finds you have made and acquired. Much artistic expression is found in antique bottles, very meaningful. Thanks
Good morning Dave. I havent watched this yet, just starting it but wanted to say hello and thank you for sharing your collection again. Have a good day!
I'm very pleased that you still have the Nicklejohn. That was the best find from any bottle digging video I've yet seen anywhere. Perhaps you should consider getting your most valuable bottles insured.
im 100 percent appreciative of the time that you put in to showing us your amazing collection id give my left arm to find open pontile bottles or heck to find a pre civil war bottle lol
WWOOOOHOOO, I am so excited to see your favorite collection! Brings back memories for me of my fathers collection, I had to dust them all for so many years, until I moved out and went to college. Such beautiful colors, Dave thank you so much for sharing them with us, I got nervous you putting the Miklejohn bottle on the ledge! Hugs for Shelly and you!
The cologne bottle at 26:40 Is from the early 1800s, probably no later 1830. That's style was popular primarily in the new england states and in the upper east coast
Thanks again Dave for another very informative video of your collection. I do remember the video of Shelly digging the Miklejohn bottle. God Bless Dave. Your family is always in our prayers.
Fantastic collection, Dave! Very beautiful bottles... love seeing your collection! Hope you do many more of these! And I, for one, would love seeing Paul's collection one day! Take care, be safe and God bless!
I use to buy all kinds of your bottles in Yesterday's Market and The Light House mall case gin likes peak flask Kickapoo Indian oil several bitters just all kinds of bottles
Very interesting! I have been following the UK mudlarkers and bottle diggers for a couple of years and notice quite a bit of difference. They have access to many different colors of bottles and stoppers. They have many pottery jam jars, cod bottles (with cod marbles), ink bottles, and poison bottles. I wonder if you find many of the stoppers and just don't put them in the bottles, or were the bottles stopped with corks, or?
