I'd add thalictrum, verbena bon, and guara....even though guara can be a bit wide at the base. Love grasses and tall perenials as they look majestic in a mixed border.
Great idea!
I have a serious obsession with and an unwavering love for tall very or mostly vertical perennials...such as Delphinium, Foxglove, Verbascum, Linaria, Eremurus, Agapanthus, Rudbeckia [triloba], Verbena bonariensis, Salvia, Veronica, Hollyhock, etc. They just seem so majestic....over 1 metre is where its at. 😅❤🎉
If you love tall plants check out Silphium terebinthinaceum and Rudbeckia maxima.
@arnorrian1 thank you. I will.
@@arnorrian1 lol I have r. maxima...its a monster. I dont think it reaches its potential as it gets 6 feet to maybe 7 and I know it can get as high as 8 to 9 in some areas....I'm in the desert southwest in tx, usa
I love discovering new plants from your videos! Thank you for not just growing “the usual”!
I love these tall, narrow, airy & see through plants - that move in the breeze. They are so beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed this video - so entertaining and informative. Thank You so much for taking the time to do the video Rosy.
This is one of the best videos so far.... I struggle to put a planting plan together. Thank you, Rosie.
Always something different Rosie. Lovely plant selection!
Thank you for showing multiple pots of each plant as it gives a good idea of how they would look planted in drifts.
Rosie, she is so knowledgeable through years of experience, we are very lucky.
Thank you, Rosy! It’s beautiful ❤
Rosy, you make arranging a selection of plants into a border look so easy! Wonderful look for a small area. And I'm so happy to learn about the stipa, I've been wanting to try the giant variety but I know it's too big for my garden. Now I can look for the variety you included here. Houston, TX, US
I always learn so much from your demos!! Thank you so much for taking the time to post these videos. 🥰 Can you offer some sources for seeds, many of these I have not seen in the big suppliers.
This is exactly what i need for my small garden. Thank you 😊
Great demo ❤
Some great ideas. I have the linaria Purpurea, it just arrived from somewhere. Some of it comes up pink after self seeding itself.
Some lovely plants there Rosy! Will any of these be happy in a coastal garden please? Thanks!
Hello yes most of these will do in a coastal garden
🙌
Will these tall plants need support?
They should all be self supporting
