The cookbook is crap, just a guideline. I’ve been cooking on mine for a week and it’s awesome! I’ve smoked a whole chicken, grilled burgers/ribeyes… all were delish 👌🏻. Way easier/cheaper than gas or charcoal.
Hmm i did wonder about the taste and if the wood smoke would give it a charcoal type flavour, I guess not in this case But I Did a google search and Pit Boss do a BIG (9kg) back of charcoal "flavoured"? wood pellets, so i wonder if that would do the trick. Ah, I just read the reviews as I was writing this, it does work in the Ninja woodfire grill and it does make food taste like it was done on a charcoal grill! Might be worth mentioning that to your parents if they still use the grill.
I'm surprised they didn't shut the door. Smoke from it could have been heavy. Lol. I had one and returned it after a few uses... i found with other meats like Brisket and pork tenderloin. I felt it left a weird flavor, not sure what that was about.. I made several different meats on it.. Burgers were amazing on it!!! Italian sausages were amazing.. Once I got over the nostalgia of using it. I could taste that odd flavor in those other meats. Do tell them to try a couple of other things and try using store bought pellets. You don't have to use ninja pellets. Use it a lot before the return policy ends, just in case he experiences the weird taste as well. That way, he's not stuck with a $400 air fryer he might not like. Great video!!!
Nice Job 💥 Let dad know he can use Charcoal pellets too! Maybe get some Jack Daniels Charcoal pellets and some B and B wood pellets. You guys can thank me later. Lol You can also cold smoke on the Ninja. ✌
@@lldavid4816 Good morning David. Indeed it is OK! It even says in the owners manual but who reads those. Lol. In one place it says they recommend you use ninja brand and in another spot they state you can use any brand. They recommend ONLY because they want people to buy theres so they make the money and there's are Super expensive compared to the rest. Great video and great purchase! I think you guys will enjoy the Ninja ❤ 🍻! I have watched every video on UA-cam. Lol
You can buy a flat plate for it for smash burgers , eggs etc. Also another company sells a mat you can put down and set a metal rack on top of that so you can place racks of ribs etc. On it so the smoke and heat circulates properly all around the food. 😊 The purpose of tha mat is to keep the metal rack off the griddle/plate so it won't be metal on metal and possibly damage it. 👍
@@CatScratch244 ok thank you. But i saw on youtube that charcoal pellet burn very hot compared to classic wood pellet. Have you already tested charcoal pellet on ninja woodfire ? Thank you
Finally an english one!!

I used it to get an idea how to use it on first time not sure my parents will use it. Whole chicken is great on it 👍🏻

Can I use inside house , or is is just for outdoor use ?
The other features can be used indoors wouldn’t recommend the smoke setting indoors though
Use charcoal pillets.

argos were selling it for £300 the same time your parents purchased theirs
My strata recently banned gas bbqs so this unit would be a good replacement! Thanks
It’s a great addition 😊 hope you enjoy it!
Great video! I''ve bought one 4 weeks ago - still not unboxed yet lol
Thank you! Hope you enjoy it 😊
I so agree with you with the classic charcoal bbq but it looks so cool, I love it :)
You can’t beat charcoal however this has some definite advantages!😍🔥
FYI you can use Charcoal pellets and you get close to 90% of thetaste in your BBQ.
@@D3D587 looking forward to trying this! Thanks 😊
