My golden retriever passed away last week, im so sad and i deeply think that dogs (and others animals) are the best friends you can get in life... And I truly realized that when I felt his last breath in my arms, i still got a little tear running down my face when i write this. Love you guys, and take care of your pets, try to give back the love they give to you, and i say try, because they will always love you more than you can give them affection. ❤️ (Sorry for my bad english)

I’ll be brief because it’s the comment section. My sister’s dog passed away on December 3rd. It was hard on all of us. He was more of a family pet that lived with my sisters family. He was a lab/husky mix. He was such a good boy who got me through some very tough times. This little video made me think of him. Thank you.

This is exactly why I don't want to get any animals hurts too much I'm sorry for the loss of your family member pet I just wanted to let you know if you haven't read the rainbow bridge poem look it up . My sister had me read that after I lost Trixie it really helped me. Sad that you lost your loving pet member during the holiday time Christmas time I'm so sorry God bless and stay safe. 💗🐸🙏

I'm trying to make sense of the finality of death; it hurts so much when pets and people who we love are gone. I'm not surprised that our ancestors made up "heaven", so that their sadness could be alleviated.
These videos are/were such a pure thing that it's easy to pretend they exist in a bubble outside ordinary suffering. I think that's why it hits so hard.
