Tiger Stadium demolition - 07/04/09

On the Fourth of July 2009, BuildingsofDetroit.com swung by to see what was left of the venerable ballpark that was home to America's pastime for nearly 100 years. The answer? Not much. Demolition crews have destroyed most of the first base side in the last few days. All that remains of the storied stadium is the area behind home plate, including the elevator tower that took the media to the pressbox. dont get me wrong comerica park is great but i loved tiger stadium
