It was great that the Shadows got back together for their final tours and managed to leave the problems behind. I thought we'd never see Hank play in the Shadows as a group again. He is one of the greatest players.
Just found this brilliant and an informative interview. Who could play like that live and so faultlessly with perfect sound and notes right out of an Amp never heard anyone do it other than Hank

Non è colpa sua che non è stato invitato mai Italia , loro conosciuti del Nord Europa , forse Italia ci ha schiacciato dei Beatles , ma ricordiamoci che loro erano primi con la chitarra elettrica . Io adoro anche il suo stile un " gentleman" e particolarmente le sue dite con la pelle chiara , pare di una donna . Bravissimo Hank , peccato che vivi in Australia. Con infinito affetto ,da una signora di over 70 .( Ancora mi emoziono di vederti e sentirti )

Anche se lo ammiro tantissimo come chitarrista, l'immanchevole ca@@ata tipica di chi sa poco e niente dell'Italia: Gli piace "the italian food"....e gli echi Meazzi e Binson negli anni 60 che furono strumenti basilari per creare il suo stile musicale...... li ha dimenticati?
