You play it superb! The sound, style and playing are superb! I played it in the 60s. I played about 100 pieces, wanted more songs, but the details stayed often overlooked! You've completed this perfect. Surprisingly I liked the Burns sound maybe more, although the Fender sound is extra, perfect! ❤

Hey Glenn, thanks so much for your lovely comment. It’s greatly appreciated. So I experiment with slightly different stuff for different songs but my main amp is a 1968 vibrolux reverb. I also use an old Watkins dominator. I have an old Watkins copicat and quadraverb for my delays. I just mess around with them to see which captures what I perceive to be most like the original shadows recordings which are my favourite. I think the sound he got on those early recordings were just magical!!! I’m using a mixture of an old copicat and quadraverb for my echos and have a 1969 vibrolux reverb as my amp mixed with an old Watkins dominator. I mix it up for each to try and replicate as close as I can to the original records as those to me are Hank Marvin’s greatest sounds. So I don’t own one of those pedals but from what I can see it has multi amp modes and multi effects. You will struggle to get his tone because firstly he uses different types of delays for different songs and what I gather this has one type of delay on it. That being said you can capture the essence using the delay and maybe select the amp mode to the vox setting as I believe he used to use vox amps. If I’m not mistaken I believe you can also program these and add your own sounds so it might be worth learning how to do this and listen to the records to try and come up with a similar delay. With me never of having played this pedal I obviously can’t say for sure the best way but have an experiment with it and I’m sure you will find some great tones on it. Hope this helps in some way. Amazing cover of apache how would you get his sound with the lekato multi effects pedal as that is what I currently use
I’ll have to look into a lekato pedal as I’m not familiar with it. I’ll do some research

Which guitar string gauge do you use on you're guitar ?
