This could a be a 20 hour HBO series and I'd greedily watch every second. He's a wizard giving us a glimpse into the forbidden secrets of the cosmos. I just love this man, what a gem of a human.
Yea, got home from work last night and saw the new rig rundown and was super excited. I'd listen to these guys talk about their gear and music all day long. Page giving us a full 30 minutes is nothing short of generous and a blessing.
Wow… I guess I’m getting close too. I remember being at the 20th anniversary run, thanksgiving of 2003. That Albany show was fire. The Philly show was meh. The shows in Miami that new years Will always be a great memory for me.
When Paige played Squirming Coil to end a first Set at Alpine Valley this Summer, his Solo was soul moving. We gave him a very long standing ovation to show our appreciation for his great musicianship and being the beautiful person that he is.
The Squirming Coil Coda is truly where Page shines. I was so hoping that he would play a piece of that when he sat down at the Yahama at the end of the video. Every time I hear that coda it gives goosebumps.
I'm sure everyone does feel this way that's a fan - but we owe tons of kudos and appreciation for the time these guys take to break down their gear for us. I love that they recognize there is great interest for all their tools and toys of the trade. This video is a gift. Thanks Page... keep tickling our earholes with these amazing instruments!
Heavy, vintage and genuine classic rig, and player! Of course, many of us have downsized over the years to workstations. I must say, I was very pleased to see the CS-60 ! Most never give credit to this synthesizer, let alone LIVE on stage!! The 'linear' chromatic portamento is an early, one of a kind feature to Yamaha. I still have my 60, bought new in 1978, never gigged with it, only a bedroom piece, so totally like new to this day. I bought (when they were first introduced) a new Boss CE-2 chorus for it to make it sound more like the CS-80 with it's two oscillators per note. Thanks for this presentation!
I actually love that as he gave his rig rundown and sampled some of his instruments, he mentioned that it would sound a lot better if we were watching the video with stereo sound. I love that in the moment, he was cognizant enough to think about the video's end result and what the listener would be hearing.
He has the ultimate dream set up of every keyboard a keyboardist would want on the road, all the vintage ones are in pristine condition. Wurly 200A? Moog One? Yamaha CS-60 AND a mint C7 Grand?!? What a legend.
OMG thank you so much for this update. Page is such a personal inspiration! What a great rundown! I really appreciate all the attention to the historical details. Page side forever.
I saw my first show 3/30/92 in STL. Of course, I was completely blown away. The energy was straight up palpable. After the show Page came out to the front. I grabbed the opportunity to first thank him for rocking out so hard. :) I asked him how in the world do they remember all those different changes in the songs? He said this was achieved with hours and hours of practice, woodshedding and repetition. He was the coolest, most down to earth nicest dude! I’ll never forget it.
Thanks, Page. This is basically the perfect keyboard rig! Love how your organ tech has the grind in the B3 dialed in. I can hear that the percussion no-volume-drop mod has been done, allowing the percussion "ping" to push things over into distortion. Is there any additional amplification between the AO28 and the Leslie amp, or is the AO28 just setup really hot?
Kudos to Eddie Piotrowski.......as the rundown was happening, I was thinking about being the tech and how much stuff that is to take care of. But then to find out he tunes the piano too? Major major kudos. Super impressive!
Thanks Page! Love the commentary on each keyboard and the sampling of the sounds. Back in the day I played semi-pro with a couple of bands for weddings, proms, parties and such, and was fortunate enough to play with a clavinet, Rhodes, Wurlitzer and a CS-60. This video bought back so many great memories and how I wish I still had those instruments. The one I miss the most is the CS-60 for it's sound and ease of use, everything was visual and I could change settings on the fly. I also got a Yamaha Electric Grand (CP-70b) that I never took to gigs because no one was willing to help carry it - (we were our own roadies). 😄 I kept the CP-70b, thank goodness, and now that I'm retired I treated myself to a Yamaha Montage 7. Boy, how things have changed! Like you said, it will take a lifetime to learn all the things that these new keyboard can do.
Love this video, Page! Most of what I know about keys I learned from listening to you man, so it’s really cool to see your rig and hear you discuss it 🤘🏾💚😎
Thank you for your time and explanation. I know we all so greatly appreciate the insight into your creativity and boards you use to please our ears and ease our minds. Happy New Year All. 🎉
I think it's pretty cool that Page tours with all those old analogue beauties. Smart to also have a Nord there just in case one of the old boards decides it's time time to croak.
I first saw these guys in 1988 at a club in Richmond Va called the Jade Elephant. Never heard them or of them before. I ended up standing in front of Page for most of the show. He blew me away with his playing.

So true!

l 😊😊😊
except the music he makes is such garbage. roll your fist across any analog poly and youll get something more magical
He's just a pianist for an overrated cover band! Lol!
Ladies and gentleman, the chairman of the boards 🎉
Is there anything more pure than Page explaining his passion of music and hardware?
"A really cool feature unique to my organ" - Page McConnell
It is simply not fair that I can only like this one time
I’m just jazzed that Page and Trey are spending their time listening to the Big Cypress Sand. Hell yeah guys, bring those ‘99 jams back.
Too bad thebhand sucks
@@unknownkingdomzing!
The piano solo at the end of Coil will always bring me back to 94. Love Page
When Page stands up, you get down!🕺💃
👏👏
I love how Page explains everything like a college professor. Can some please give him a PhD or several. ?? Thank you Page! 😊
Wow...we got both a keys rig tour along with a music equipment history/tutorials masterclass, all in one...Page is da man!!
Coming up on 30 yrs since my first Phish show and I'm still mesmerized watching you play. Thanks for being an amazing person Page!

Wow… I guess I’m getting close too. I remember being at the 20th anniversary run, thanksgiving of 2003. That Albany show was fire. The Philly show was meh. The shows in Miami that new years Will always be a great memory for me.
" . . . . Meatstick." 😂🤣
Love ya Page, thanks for showing us this!
🐠🐟🐠🐟
R.I.P. Dave Smith. We wouldn’t be watching such videos if not for his innovations. Cool rig rundown! What a setup! That 200a sounds sick. Cheers. 🕊
I just love this cool soundin dude’s rockin vibrations
This, ladies and gentlemen is a true professional.

Page side is the rage side!❤
I LOVE these rig breakdowns of the band members. More PLEASE

the squirming coil got away
Coil his signature! I called the encore here 😉
It’s original name is “Lick My Love Pump”
Stick around.

Definitely my favorite member of the group. So unpretentious and amiable.
The description, playing, & facial expressions during “The Meatstick” had me geeking out way hard! Loved every second of this!
I want a full album of Page solo on the Organ after hearing that Cars, Trucks, Buses.

Use headphones when you watch this. Incredible sounds.
Really loving the stuff around 18:20

Thank you for the Squirming Coil ending
That Coil ending hit me. Thanks for sharing Page!
New Phish fan here! I randomly heard a track of their last album and now I’m hooked…
I would completely lose myself with all these beautys around me. Thanks for this very interesting tour!
Page, Thank You so very much for making this video. I REALLY enjoy you beautiful keyboard performances with Phish.
The Squirming Coil solo ending was beautiful. What an amazing guy.
Never underestimate having a good keyboardist in your band!
He has the ultimate dream set up of every keyboard a keyboardist would want on the road, all the vintage ones are in pristine condition. Wurly 200A? Moog One? Yamaha CS-60 AND a mint C7 Grand?!? What a legend.
I could watch these rig videos over and over
I love his RIP Dave sticker on the Sequential.... Dave Smith was an amazing guy
OMG thank you so much for this update. Page is such a personal inspiration! What a great rundown! I really appreciate all the attention to the historical details. Page side forever.

And let it be 60 minutes, cuz he just be ripping jokes the whole time, get distracted, forget where he was and start over.😄😄
Thank you!

Insane to think as a gear head half this setup could be in museums! So much rare and unique gear. Thats a six figure stage setup.
Play it Leo!!
18:55 The look on Page’s face after landing that spacecraft😮Just stepping onto a new planet. Well done traveler!
Thanks Page! Love the commentary on each keyboard and the sampling of the sounds. Shocks my brain keyboard is my favorite but they are all so unique and it’s awesome to hear which ones he uses in different songs.

I first saw these guys in 1988 at a club in Richmond Va called the Jade Elephant.
Never heard them or of them before.
I ended up standing in front of Page for most of the show. He blew me away with his playing.
