I saw them for the first time on Czech television in the program Noc s Anděl. They were absolutely amazing. It took me a long time to "find" them on UA-cam.
At 1:29 , fiddle player loses a string, the look on his face is priceless and the nod of the head as if to say "ah fuck it" and belts away ! Love it. Had the privilige of listening to them and hanging out with them for a can at Sheanandoah Music Festival back in August 2010 in Orkney Springs Virginia, sound bunch of lads.
One of the best songs ever written, ever! Anyone with any Irish blood in them would be out on the dance floor in a flash! I bloody love the Saw Doctors!
Awesome song, performed by a bloody brilliant band. How can anyone say they don't like this song. Ballyhackett says The Saw Doctors are #no 1 From Rodney in Ballyhackett
Love these guys. The very first live concert I ever went to was a Saw Doctors gig, Summer 1999, I was 3! 23 now and still love jamming to Songs From Sun Street while in the car 👌🏼👌🏼
WOW!! This is amazing, the band, the audience, me and many other UA-camrs united in the enjoyment from this music. Ignore the 1 dislike, the person probably didn't have their glasses on and hit on the wrong thumb! Thanks for the upload.
Roll on the 15th of April in Leeds when i see them for the 6th time : ) Believe me its impossible to get sick of seeing The Saw Doctors , Brilliant Band
I'm 14 years old and I don't like any new music in the US, it's all the same there's nothing unique about it, and having a dad and grandparents that are 100% Irish, you know you're going to hear Irish music, this music is unique and not today's techno, rap crap! I'm so glad my dad introduced my brother and sisters to The Saw Doctors, he plays The Saw Doctors all the time, we also love Music by Christy Moore, Luka Bloom, The Irish Rovers, and the Wolf Tones, and so many more. I've grown up listening to The Saw Doctors, AND THIS IS REAL MUSIC!
This was a magic time in Ireland the craic was 90.😂❤❤
Now Ireland is destroyed . Its a total kip.
Heard this song in a pub while visiting Ireland and fell in love with it right away, cheers 🥂 from Mexico...
