A keyboard or piano and a drum machine is all I need when it comes down to it. And there's a big difference between a Beatmaker and a Producer. Most of these beatmakers I see don't rap or aren't good songwriters. Being a producer or beatmaker that raps and write songs will give you the edge because we know how things should sound. Being a beat maker without being a Rapper or Singer makes me question what is dope sometimes.
