2021 VW Touareg - Innovision Cockpit

Drivers use the Innovision Cockpit to adapt the assistance, handling and comfort systems specifically to their personal tastes; the car becomes 'their' Touareg. This opens up a world in which the driver and on-board guests no longer have to adapt to the car; rather the car adapts to them. Like a new smartphone, the Volkswagen is set up and tuned to personal needs. This is made possible by a new high level of connected systems and programmes - controlled via digital interfaces and the multifunction steering wheel.

Not a fan of touch screens in cars - too distracting. But do like virtual cockpit and head up display. Audiish system (virtual cockpit + wheel controlled infotainment) seems to be the best compromise to me.

I thought the same thing before actually trying it for around 10 minutes. Completely won me over, very simple to use and no more distracting than a normal system.

screens look cool but are not very practical since the driver will need to look at the screen for each command because the location of the icons won't be fixed and that will distract the driver = higher risk of accidents to occur
Also, too much light is bad for your eyes especially on long trips
