Personal item only - Minimalist pack with me for an overnight stay

- I am going on a short trip and stay overnight, so instead of my travel backpack, I decided to be more minimalist and only pack my tote bag in the size of a personal item.
I am showing what I am packing and all my super-minimalist travel toiletries. ;-)
And my bag is still half empty, so with a few more things, I could travel for longer periods of time.
And no, I did not board a plane on this trip, otherwise I would repack my fluids into a tsa approved bag.

The Bellroy light sling is awesome! I got one recently and they hold so much! Plus they are lightweight, which is very handy on airlines with weight restrictions. That Fjallraven bag looks amazing too. Have a great hike and visit with your husband 😀

Have a lovely visit!! I was at a rehab for my back earlier this year and my husband came and took me home each weekend, and it was SOOOO nice to have that time with him! So enjoy! (& I am doing better, pinched nerve in my back, but physical therapy is helping). Some good tips in this video. And the bag is nice... it is good to have a few options, I am learning this. 😊😊

Hi Maggi, thank you for your helpful videos. I am glad the update video on your husband's health is good. I would like to know the small inflatable neck pillow that you carry on board the plane? I couldn't find where I could purchase it. Thanks for letting me know.
Yes, I always use the same one. But it’s not a neck pillow, it’s a normal pillow. I find that more comfortable and in the airline I squeeze it between my neck and head and the headrest. That works great for me and gives my head more stability. And since it‘s a normal pillow, I can use it for many other things - in hotels when they don‘t give you a nice pillow, on the beach etc. The one I have is from Sea to Summit, I think it‘s the Aeros Premium (with the fabric around it), but there are different models. Hope that helps. :)

Yes, it does, in the zipppered compartment in the back. It‘s also RFID protected.
You never fail to impress me with your packing. I've been looking at getting on the bellroy slings for my dog walks (as I always have a bottle of water with me). That side by side pouch looks great. Hope you had a nice time visiting your husband - must be hard being apart.
