They are among the very top authorities when it comes to the Belgian Malinois.
In this podcast we focus a lot on malinois puppies, breeding, selecting and training them for protection sports such as IGP / IPO / Schutzhund. This is a great chat with so much information about malinois puppies, that anyone who either has a malinois or is interested in getting one, should listen. Truly one of my favorite podcasts on the topic.
We talk about training the puppies in the right steps to be solid sport protection dogs, the how's and why's.... We talk about how they select world champion dogs and their passion for the sport and breed.

I recently adopted a 3 month Mal, I am her 6th owner. If it wasn't for Robert's videos and his love for animals not sure I would have got threw it. She was a insecure mess, 3 months later, she's such a beautiful loving girl who brightens up my life every day. What a journey! I am now learning how to train and care for a dog and try my best to fill her working dog needs.

At the beginning of the show, Conni was briefly talking about the importance of the environment where they get their puppies from. If I understand correctly, she said that they watch how the pups mother relationship is with the breaded, because she is the first teacher on how to interact with humans, trust, fear, in short the emotional state of the mother , the 1:09:34 family and surrounding as well, is a factor. As is in all mammals, I believe this strongly as a German immersion teacher.
This was so helpful. Your interviews give so much insite into the world of dogs and bite sports. Can you possibly do one on the Dutch Shepherd? There is such a split in trainers opinions on them. The experience with mine has been the best thing ever. Would love to hear about training experiences from trainers who breed and work them in sport or for military or police. Thanks for all you do!
