- This video is about lotor x allura. Watched Season 5. Lotor is like his father. He's a dork. I love him. Enjoy. I own nothing. Took me all day to edit from clips in the new season. Pretty proud of it. Haven't seen any amvs for season 5 yet so here I go.
So, I will be babbling in another video about my theories on Lotor's character and where i HOPE his arc will go. However, for now, enjoy as many cute moments as I could squeeze in here --between Lotor and Allura
S6 SPOILERS!!! my heart......ouch.....seeing this ship actually hurts me like im so and i loved this ship so much and i honestly was hoping so much that he was good and he wasn't like damn. Like was i the only one crying over this or is the fandom in shambles right now???
Lotor was always one of my favorites bc even as a villian he was interesting.. I want to think he's wholly good and there's a chance he is but I feel like he might have another scheme going on. Remember how quickly he killed Narti? C'mon people
Swhedha S to be fair, he had shitty people skills like his dad. I’m a creative writer and I’ve studied his character. I’m not just taken in by his looks. I see someone who is struggling to find his reason for existing and up until now it was kill or be killed for him. Does that fight or flight mentality make him evil ? No I don’t think that. I don’t think he should have killed Narti but he also hates the witch and sees anyone who is her puppet as a threat to him. I think the reason I picked this song for him is because this season could be his turning point where he is no longer just this ruthless calculative prince but is genuinely trying to understand his mother through Allura and her knowledge of the Altean culture. He’s spent his entire life in the shadows, and I think the change won’t be as quick as it’s implied in this season but I don’t see a reason as writing him off either as incapable of changing because he will realize that he has something worthy of fighting for that exceeds his own ambition. 💖 sorry that was long. I could seriously talk about Lotor all day. Lol

PenWielder Magic yeah same. And whilst I love Klance with all my heart and it will always be my otp, I'm preparing myself for the fact that it will never happen so I don't get my hopes up, ya know? Plus, Lotura is hella canon
We'll see...I hope the creators don't make Lotor an ass just to make sure they have their "villain" role covered. I really think this Lotor is not flat like the 80's version and he's seriously worth considering for you know--being a GOOD guy or at least an anti-hero who is chaotic-good.

I have come back from the end of Season 8.....I still ship it. He had his flaws and made bad choices but in the end, he was the least of the evils they faced. Poor boy just wanted to be loved and give love in return. Instead, he was screwed over at every turn and made out to be worse than his father the genocidal maniac.
yep. It's called poor rushed writing because the writers assume we don't care about the development of certain characters who make a strong impression. Something I plan to remedy in my fanfiction which continues after season 8 and is sort of a "reboot" of this voltron but set 100 years in the future where Lotor is spat back into the world from timey wimey space stuff. :D
Imma just ignore Season 6 and pretend it never happened

Lotor is too multi-dimensional to be a mere "villain". I think even if he doesn't end up marrying Allura, she will at least help him find that compassion that being alive 10,000 years under his father's shadow has squashed.

I'm quite sure that Lotor is faking to obtain power and knowledge...he killed one of his generals without a hint of remorse and he's ambiguos and sly as hell, but I'm a fucking slave for relationships/couples like Lotollura, I think that they can have chemistry if given a chance, so I'll live in this beautiful dream a little longer until it will crush *cries* Good job
I think he is definitely manipulating Allura and the paladins at this point. But I also think he did have remorse for killing narti. He never gloats about it and there is a silent regret he has on his face as he is flying away in his ship. Lotor is ambiguous and sly as hell but I really think that there is just so much for him to grow into. My hope is no matter what his transgressions will be in the future, he will learn to let the paladins in and make up with his generals especially axca. It is clear there is some unspoken thing going on with those 2. :) enjoy my amvs! I may talk about my Lotor theories at some point haha 😂

Gurby The Great hey Lotor is a great character. I would give him a chance. He has an excuse for why he is the way he is
I think Lotor is trying to be genuine, and he definitely seemed sweet on Allura. But based on what happened with the white lion guardian, he has a lot to work on. That last scene after Allura is deemed worthy, he seemed a bit off. I hope he doesn’t resent her or the fact he was unworthy. Rejected by his Galra father, and then by Altean culture might be too much for him though. 😕 Interesting character, to say the least.
DaPanda Girl actually he acts a lot like Keith. I notice parallels to him and Keith and him and Allura. I think it’s just a reflex honestly that made him defend himself. It’s the only way he knew how to survive up to this point. Before he he wanted information he had to obtain it by force. Lotor has a lot of growing up to do but with Allura I really think he can learn to be less ruthless.

Lotor is going to have a ton of issues but I really think he will become a reliable if not stronger character because of it. His biggest problem I've found is he's been around 10,000 years and that is enough to drive anyone insane. Especially with hisfather and mother being loco.

Technically allura dug lotor's grave by not trying to get him to change first. Sure she may have failed but hes proven to be someone who values communication
I’m just reading the “I don’t trust comments” I mean lotor saved the team from getting killed by his father he didn’t have to do that if he didn’t care for none of the voltron team and he may have something up his sleeve just maybe(switch to helping voltron too quick) but to show his mother watching him grow(idk I guess she forgot she had a son idk) I thought the whole scene of her watching lotor grow meant he was blooming to a hero or could change history or some idk xD

jade cole More like she watches her son grow up without her. Lotor was forced to rely on himself for survival. Unfortunately I just cant dislike him or his actions. Lotor never acts without reason and never carelessly. He calculates and wastes nothing.
