On the topic of the SF not decamoing DDTs - there's a weird quirk of the mod I've noticed where tower-specific monkey knowledge seems not to apply to towers that have been randomized. I think I first noticed it with Emergency Unlock
15:58 so the way the game is coded is that range additions aren’t additive, they’re multiplicative, so since the base ice monkey has so little range, (ballpark numbers), absolute zero gives is 10x range, and cryo cannon gives it 15x range, so instead of having 25x range, which is still big but not *that* big, they get multiplied and it has 150x range! That combined with the village range buff with ptraining, you basically get full map coverage
Idea for an extra layer of challenge: no switching back-and-forth between rerolling different towers. Once you drop a tower you must continue to reroll only that tower, and if you ever stop to drop or reroll another tower, then you can never reroll the initial tower again. You can prohibit selling if you want even more craziness.

@@turmspitzewerk i mean, you’re not wrong, but at the same time games need penalties and stakes. Considering the game’s micro transactions are VERY easily avoidable with essentially zero gameplay effect (minus double cash, that sucks), i really don’t see a problem with the way continues are.
@@turmspitzewerk It’s not even micro-transactions as monkey money is an in game currency that can be obtained pretty easily and this account is modded so it’s likely that he would have pretty much infinite monkey money anyways. His biggest concern is that by using continues it gives him cash and make the game too easy
@@ConfusionUwU monkey money is explicitly a freemium microtransaction based currency. its not a huge deal, but it does sour the experience when the game holds your save file hostage until you cough up 50¢ worth of your earned cash. especially because they explicitly allow savescumming exploits; so why even have this annoying continue cash injection mechanic at all? all it does is punish players who forgot to hit the button and savescum before they die, or worse, punish new players for not knowing that's an option. if savescumming is allowed, and is functionally identical to retry last round, then why do paid continues need yo exist? they just punish players for a trivial and stupid mechanic. plus if you just want to pay for a cash injection then crates are far better.

While save scumming does pretty much the same thing, it requires the player to actually focus on the game to know that they’re about to die, and can’t just go do something else and only come back when the defeat screen shows up. It is probably not even intended for you to savescum, but removing it will likely result in negative responses from the players. They are not meant to be in a situation where they would die in the first place, so if they put themselves in said situation, it’s on them for not being able to press pause fast enough. In fact we should be grateful that save scumming exists at all and the devs haven’t done anything significant to stop it yet other than giving a slightly less appealing medal when you beat chimps with save scumming.

Okay this is my favorite BTD6 mod combination so far. More of this, it's really entertaining.
All paths of ice increases it's range, in addition to p-training and p-brew, that's why that AZ has almost global range.

Hey ISAB here's an idea for making these videos a bit more challenging, try doing these "mod reviews" with the mastery mode mod
I think limiting the amount of towers you can place down could interestingly increase the challenge and also be a bit better for viewers

You should absolutely do this with molded towers thrown in as well. Then again, I'm not sure if ultimate crosspathing works with molded towers.
