Hi Samuel - well explained and i completed these steps but unfortunately I am unable to restore from the backup I took based on this. Do you have any suggestion? The iphone is throwing an error occurred error as soon I click on restore.
you saved me from a massive proplem, thank you so much sir it works for me to restore my data from my computer to my iPhone not to back up, thank you very much and I hope everything good comes to your life.
@@Car_los-kz1fh well this video is the step by step guide to fix this exact message just take in mind that it was made almost two years ago and itunes version has been updated and also windows is no longer using the same locations for storing the backup files. So paths needs to be verified before taking action
hey bro , I have a bit different problem here. I wanted to restore my 56,6GB-Backup from Itunes in my IPhone after resetting the Phone (because of too much GB Storage...). But when I clicked on "restore iPhone" (Itunes), it showed error: "iTunes could not restore the iPhone because not enough free space is available on the iPhone". My Backup is too big or rather I really dont have enough space. So when I reset my iPhone, I have no pictures, apps, messages etc. and got left 10 GB (10GB because of "Other", "Systemcache",...) So now I thought, that I have really less storage, the backup restore into my iphone should work... But again the error that I have not enough free space came. My backup is 56,6 GB and my IPhone X got 64GB. 64-56,6=7,4GB. Therefore I should have less then 7,4GB (instead of 10GB) on my Phone so then I can restore. But I cant clear more storage (10GB) and I cant reduce the GB of the backup (56,6GB) So what can I do?? I am despairing. Can you help me, I am really stuck since 6 hours
1.Did you try to restart your computer? 2. did you try to restart your phone? if yes 3. try to update your itunes to the latest version 4. try to update your iphone ios to the latest version
@@luhhawaa There is a solution but you have to pay Money. Look, if you have your Backup in Apple Itunes on PC, it transfers your whole data/backup into your phone(but its too big/much, Right?) . But There are tools where you can select (from backup) which data you want to transfer into your phone. So therefore if you select, lets say, only to transfer your photos and apps,(through this Tool) it will be less GB for your phone- the data is not that big, no problem. - fixed Me for my self, I didnt want to pay. I need some help please. In case, I have already backed up the data to the C drive, it appears that the C drive doesn’t have enough space to restore. what can I do next. I’m trying to clear and delete everything that I can but it still doesn’t have enough
try to run the disk cleanup tool from windows and don't forget to check the V on clean up system files, if that will not give you enough space you can download and run a free tool called "tree size" to locate the bigger files on your C: drive and then you can delete them if you don't need them or temporary move them to another location like a flash drive or removable disk.
hi samuel. I followed all your steps and was successful in creating the junction. but even after that when i try to backup from iTunes or even another third party app, it shows the same error i.e. not enogh space. i have more than 300 gbs space free in both c and d drive. pls help.
Ive got a problem - now it says that my Backup History is empty and I cant restore from an older Back up File - what do I do now? It usually had my back up history with older files where I could simply click on and hit "restore from this back up file"
hi, if you followed the instruction correctly then it shouldn't happened. anyway you can look in the original folder that now supposed to be called backup.old, if you have a folder there with a long name or some folders those are your previous backups, try copy the last one to the new location if you created one the try to restore again.
