It's kind of ironic how at first, when Maurice tells Gaston about the Beast, Gaston doesn't care, and in fact throws him in the asylum (how fun). Now, though, Gaston's pulling his "He's gonna kill us all!" card, and telling everyone to kill the Beast. Clearly, Gaston's motives are not those of a hero.
I just through playing Gaston, and honestly I kind of sounded like this guy. I partially got the role because I was like the only guy that could do that octave jump, but I really think I nailed the role :D
Doing this show recently has been the most unforgettable experience, and mob song was my highlight, as one of villagers the sheer energy and anger we all expressed through this song was beautiful, a true showing of what all the effort and practice can do for something like this, if I could do it again, goddamn I will!
Honestly, I like Gaston's response of "try and stop us" better than locking up Belle and Maurice. Fits more in line with arrogant nature, in my opinion.

Alex Rolleston I know, it was just wishful thinking :(... I am actually not excited for the live action film featuring emma watson. I don't see her doing well in the film. I think she will make Belle too... I don't know how to put it into words... down tempo. I can't see her portraying the innocent, optimistic, and endearing characteristics that I associate with Belle. Don't get me wrong; I hope that it turns out to be a wonderful film :)... I just have my doubts
