Rest in love Luke... ♡In November 2016, Luke Perry went on the record saying his favorite couple on the series was actually Brenda and Dylan, when he made an appearance at REWindCon in Bloomingdale, Illinois, I’m glad she was my scene partner. She was great at what she did in the character with me. They were soulmates I have no idea why the writers put in that Kelly and Dylan were soulmates because that's a whole lot of crap they were desperate to finish the series and Jason and Shannon were busy doing other things so they had to hook Kelly n Dylan up it was the worst mistake they ever made.
Man!!!! I loved them once upon a time. My first real ship. Hated Kelly ever after and still adore BD. The way I see it...he never came back in the end and hooked up with K and he most definitely didn't father any children with her. BD forever and always. Great vid.
@xrachmcgrathx you are so right! everytime i watch season 5 and see how destroyed dylan is, i just keep thinking what it would have been like if brenda was still on the show.. she would have helped him and he would never have gone as far as he did.

@melbgal Totally agree with you. How could anyone hate Brenda & not Kelly? Really? Kelly was always the jealous, manipulative, lieing, hypocrite on the show, lol. But I'm sure you didn't miss much with the last season. Party wasn't the same after Brenda left & you know we didn't get that B/D ending, so there was nothing to miss, lol.
@lol21432 If you watched from the beginning, you'd know that Dylan was intended to end with Brenda, but she never returned. Dylan & her were reuniting end of season 4, that's part of the reason he was so messed up season 5 is because he heard she wasn't returning. 2ndly, of course they're going 2 make Brenda still have a thing for Dylan because she stated that she'd always love him, even with an ocean between them in season 6 when he's getting married. It was clear she'd always love him.
@brendamccay I agree with you : ) this newer generation need to watch all the episodes from the very first 90210 cause they have no clue about how Kelly ended up with Dylan! if Brenda would of came back to the show I bet her and Dylan would of been back together. I always rememeber The 'I hate Brenda' Fan clubs arounfd at the time, (Think it was more aimed at Shannon's off screen antics of the time) I never GOT It! Hate Brenda as a Character? I was more Inclined to HATE Kelly. What Kind of friend Makes a move on her best friends Boyfriend when she is Overseas? Loved that show, back in the 90's! I missed the last season as Rating in Australia went right down and the time slot was pushed to 11.30pm. I randomly caught the LAST episode xx
Yeah I stop watching it after Brenda left it wasn't a very popular show after she left they turned Dylan into a character that was unreachable Brenda fell for the bad boy with a heart of gold Kelly turned him to a jerk, they have a baby and in the spinoff they don't even end up together.
@pppusseN I thought I was the only one who couldn't help but think of how Brenda would've saved Dylan in season 5 like she did in season 1 when I watched. I couldn't see him or him struggle without thinking of Brenda & how he needed her. They were so perfect together & to watch. They sort of remind me of Pacey & Joey from Dawson's Creek. WOW!
Brenda and Dylan were perfect together, I never bought Dylan and Kelly, especially since the writers never had a build up to Dylan and Kelly, he totally ignores Kelly the first two seasons, there's no inkling of Dylan and Kelly really then all of a sudden it's Dylan and Kelly in love, bad writing. It didn't help that Shannen had issues with the cast, but never with Luke Perry or Jason Priestley. THOSE LOOKS between Luke and Shannen were just priceless. Luke and Jennie did NOT have THOSE LOOKS.
@ComputerIlliterit I agree, but truthfully, the only reason they broke up B/D is because Luke actually requested to be put with Jennie because I guess things weren't great with him & Shannen any longer. I heard a rumor that he & Shannen used to really date & she was the one who ended it so that explains a lot with their chemistry being so real & him not wanting to work with her anymore either, but they still should've thought of the fans first. They would've reunited if she stayed though. 4 sure

Do me a favor & watch seasons 1-4 before you think you can tell the early watchers how it went. Kelly admitted at the slumber party episode in season1 that she "Tried" to get a date with Dylan "After" he & Brenda started going out. He clearly rejected her because he wanted Brenda more just like at the lockers : )

The Kelly crap was fake and only happened because the actor who played Dylan(Luke Perry) asked to be put with Jennie end of season 2, then of course season 3 Dylan & Brenda were breaking up, but I believe the intention was always a B/D endgame till Shannen left or was fired because Dylan treated Kelly like crap the entire time Brenda was STILL ON THE SHOW! Then he all of sudden realizes he loves Kelly so much season 9&10... PLEASE!

Dylan and Kelly never lasted going by the spinoff they separated a week after Donna and David's wedding and apparently you find out that the baby actually belongs to Brandon it's not Dylan's. ( Luke Perry spilled the beans on that saying Dylan never had a baby with kelly) (Thanks 90210, really the TV show was based on Kelly Taylor's life...) The show should have ended in season 8 With Kelly and Brandon's wedding the last two seasons were just crap. Kelly and Dylan only hooked up at the last episode of the season series finale. The whole Kelly and Dylan relationship was nothing but sexual release, and a whole lot of lust. It's was just a sexual physical relationship they never had an adult relationship that involved being being mature, physically emotionally, psychology... the soulmate crap was a joke because Kelly was never there when his whole world fell apart and it become a train wreck and an alcoholic drug addict Playboy he never open his heart and committed to anyone after he split with Brenda he became a cheating lying loser he balance between Kelly and other women except when he got married to Tony and that's only because she related and was the closest thing he could find to Brenda . And going by Luke Perry, may he rest in peace. He begged many times for him to be reunited with Brenda he said in many interviews he wanted Brenda and Dylan back together. And luke sitting his ever last interview he was only going to do the reboot if Shannen was involved he wanted to work with Shannen again
