I never thought a video about baling hay could be so fascinating, but it was. It was very educational and informative about living the homestead life. I loved the entire video but my favorite part was when the whole family sat together as Andy ate his dinner. Another great part was when Meagan was leaving to take the kids back home, her and Andy said love ya to each other. Some may say that people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are the richest people in the world. I don't think so, the Lawson family is rich beyond worldly measure with their love for the Lord, each other, the animals, and the land. My prayer is that God will continue to bless this family with good health and an abundant harvest.

I'm envious of Andy's father. He gets to enjoy the satisfaction of knowing and seeing how he raised his son up RIGHT.
I'm 75. My boy's been gone since '78. I know what I have missed. I ENJOY watching the UNITY of your family. It's the BEST part of your videos.

I absolutely love your channel. I learn so much about farming and gardening, even though I am a Tennessee farm girl that helped plant tobacco and milked our family cow when I was a kid. Your family is everything good about our Appalachian way of life, including family values, hard work, and just genuine love and appreciation of all the gifts God has given us in this most beautiful country on earth. Keep up the good work, and keep the entertaining videos coming.

I can remember turning and raking hay with WOODEN hay rakes that my Dad made. SO heavy and cumbersome...but, we did it...even as young children. Hard work but I am so thankful for that life. It built some strong people with strong character, values and skills.

Talking about memories. Another comment said God bless who ever invented the round baler !! Couldn’t agree more !! I remember as a teen just big enough to pick up a square bale, that’s the way I’d make summertime money. We would get .10 cents a bale or .20 a bale if we put it in the barn. As a young teen we thought that was good money ! Lol. It did teach us what a hard day of work is and good work ethics !!

It is so beautiful rolled up and scattered across the field! 😊 We love your little family. Maggie and her daddy are so sweet together! We also think it is so great how Andy let's Jacob learn and help around the farm. Those youngins are living their best lives. 😊 I hope y'all have a blessed day!!

It's so nice to have equipment to help accomplish a task. As much area as you have to process, I'd say the equipment is required. I only have a few goats and rabbits that need winter hay, everything you're doing I have to do with a scythe and by hand. You have an awesome setup!

Brings back memories. I say God bless the person that invented the round bailer. I spent many a log hard day square bailing and putting up hay, but it was a rewarding job, when you got it all in the barn you got to see the results of your work that day or maybe the next day just according to the size field.
