- Atlas Muscle Cars. We finally finished this super nice1969 Road Runner, this is a full nut and bolt rotisserie resto. We started with a super straight and solid 1969 Road Runner, we took the body down to bare metal and started from scratch. Underside of the car has been coated with a rubberized bed liner for sound deadening and protection from road debris. Then we painted the top side with a really high quality base coat clear coat Black paint, we put on extra coats of clear so we would have more material to wet sand and buff to that show car finish. We put disc brakes on all four corners, tubular upper control arms and upgraded PST suspension parts. The engine is a beefed up 440 that is pushing 500 plus horse power with the 6 pack set up on it. We installed a 4 speed transmission, with a pistol grip shifter. #musclecar #musclecars #americanmusclecar #americanmusclecars #musclecarzone #hotrodsandmusclecars #musclecarsonly #musclecarfamily #musclecarsdaily #musclecarspictures #musclecarpics #rattymusclecars #musclecarshowcase #musclecarmonday #musclecarshow #musclecarspics #musclecarsofinstagram #musclecarpictures #musclecargirls #classicmusclecars #musclecarsusa #musclecardaily #worldsbestmusclecars #diecastmusclecars #classicmusclecar #musclecare #aussiemusclecar #musclecarshots #aussiemusclecars #musclecarnation #australianmusclecars #modernmusclecar #blackmusclecars #musclecarindonesia #musclecarsunited #musclecarporn #hdmusclecars #musclecarindo #gearmusclecars #allusamusclecars
This to me is bueatiful beyond words.. Brings tear to my eye.
I was ten years old when this thing came out. When I saw it, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It’s still my favorite muscle car and the ‘69 my favorite year.
Hear that car being shifted manually? It’s such a pretty sound that you don’t hear so much anymore, with lightning fast automatics even in my factory Jetta. More efficient, but no excitement.
Luv it
People don't understand miss my cuda ,chicken, dart there's more 😭
Growls like a beast.
Says hello; "BEEP! BEEP!"
You gotta love it!
A buddy of mine had a road runner in high school , its a small miracle that we survived . Thank you 🙏 Jesus !😂
LOL, I feel you! ☝🏽always has a plan we have no clue about. He is LORD. 👊🏾
6 years later.. the sound in the first ten seconds is just so stunning and unique. Sounds like an actual beast
Do you know what exhaust is on this baby?
@@TroNPopz209 I wish I did. I'd put it on my super bee.
@@DontFearTheReap-IR Sounds great doesnt it. Not too thrashy but still mean.
@@TroNPopz209 Sounds like an animal!
That thing taking off…my favorite part too. The state of the art in trannies has them shifting automatically, in milliseconds. Efficient, but that pause between gears is beautiful music not to be deleted.
That distance shifting sounds so tough... that car is perfect never change anything.
Hearing this car take off and the driver rowing through the gears is awesome! Wish I could see more vids of this car. Great job!
This is my dream car exactly... black on black Roadrunner... Beautiful car.
Mine too
Red line tires and cragar or weld wheels
I hope u get there
Same or red
Its worth 70k easily if its restored to a T
Brought to you by your friend, Fossil Fuel! Mmmmmmm, horsepower!
Still better than most modern cars out there.
Cool car. We are restoring and building one for the track on our channel. Black is an awesome color for this car... Maybe we paint ours black. 🤔
I'd get in that car even with a stranger. That horn seriously sounds like the roadrunner in the cartoon. The gurgling sound of a gal of gas burned every minute yet it doesn't pollute the air as much as cows burping is Awesome!
Now THAT's what a muscle car is suppose to sound like...fantastic...
That is one cool machine being!..I wish my Lincoln sounded like that
THE YEARS WHEN CARS WERE MADE TO PERFECTION ..
My cousin was an Air Force pilot and bought a brand new blue one exactly like this. I loved riding in it.
These 440 ci engines are great ones, I raced a car with this engine and the exhaust sounds of it was epic.
Mine was 383 Magnum factory 4-speed. Been over 40 years and can't forget that car.
1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, without question the greatest real life muscle car in history. (this is at least my 10th time back here watching this video)
I agree!
i have not heard a sweeter sounding Mopar to this day. Great work on this beauty guys!
grew up wit my dad havin a few of these, super bees', n GTX's.....440 6pac or 383mag...extremely fast.....Can leave a vette at the light...REAL SHIT
That car sounds so nice
What a gorgeous car, man someday I’ll have one next to my Challenger
That car is insane.
I'm jealous . most beautiful thing I've ever seen dude.
This car looks so damn raw and powerful. What a sexy machine!
That meep..meep horn has a very intimidating undertone to it. It can strike fear in any conventional car owner!
Man’s car. Added to my Lottery List. And the horn from the greatest cartoons ever, next to Foghorn Leghorn , that is!
That is one fine sounding exhaust. Sweet build.
I love the sound of all that horsepower trying to escape from under the hood. My first new car; 69 - 383
Driving anything other than this afterward would be a complete letdown.
funny you say that. i felt that way after being a front passenger in a 69 GTX 440 convertible & the owner drove fast & scary. Get me hooked for life. That was 1983.
I wouldn't say anything, I would rather have a 427 AC Cobra or a Pantera but this car, no doubt, sounds and is bad-ass.
@@saxon1177 Pantera is definitely on my bucket list for a dream car.
What if i show you a Challenger R/T with a 426 hemi?
Id take a current gen charger with a 440 swap lol
Gotta love these mopar 'cartoon' cars.
They're badass , with a smile.
No sweeter music this side of heaven!
That's sick, love it long live the Plymouth
I remember my 68 road runner with a 7 inch scoop, u.s.a.f. reflective radar flat black paint, thanks for sharing and the memories.
badass ride lol at the roadrunner horn too. love it
Haha. The horn sounds like the Roadrunner when he beeps twice like that.
Opethfan79 Thats how it honks everytime lol
Haha that is awsome. Sweet car I would love it.
Yep that was the point and Chrysler spent a lot of money for the time to get that horn sound.
+Konformation07 yep $50,000 dollars was paid to warner brothers for the roadrunners' ''meep meep''.
Aziz Lamar I was referring to the engineering of the car to generate that sound. They spent more than $50 grand to do that. Yes they purchased the rights to use it but they still had to make it happen.
Sounds and sights that please the ears and eyes!
One of the best sounding cars i have EVER heard
I remember my dad have a 1969 roadrunner when i was a kid in the 70's 👍
I love the Roadrunner horn!
Love the Exhaust and whole dam Car..............BAM
I'd trade my wife for it any day of the week. I honestly think the roadrunner will satisfy me more.
Mopar!
No one is going to take a wife in trade for that car.
Mopars don't care if you smack that ass and call them Stacy. my Charger is Betty Paige. she likes it.
Nice!! Big V 8 growl.
440 great mill
Love that rumble! Nice ride!
I have seen the top of the mountain...and it is good.
Man that’s a bad bird! Love the steel wheels and white letter tires. A street fighter for sure!
It looks bad ass. Not often it all comes together like this.
Gone in 15 seconds! ...only Chevys and Fords need sixty!
Just kidding, love em all, .....but Mopars are my favorite!
Beautiful old monster
I like that you left the hood the original flat black instead of painting it to match. That cam is badass too
theLOUISIANIMAL1337
The M code A12 69 1/2 lift off hoods were flat black from the factory, not intended to be painted.
This calms me down everytime I'm angry ! Its magic
Damn that thing looks sick on those steelies great built looks perfect like an American car should look
What a beautiful car
Beautiful car.
Brings back a lot of memories.
(69 Sport Satellite 383 Auto/70 RR 383 4)
This is great! Sweet ride! Meep Meep!
500 plus hp...awesome. Its exactly what we do!
dodge had six pack and 440 six pack, plymouth had 440 6bbl and 440+6!
It didn't matter my cousin's husband couldn't keep those carb tuned or timing in his yellow 70' cuda' with Shaker.
MAN THIS VIDEO IS AWESOME, LOVE THE SOUND, THE CAR LOOKS GREAT THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO!!!
saw a red one today in a parking lot I couldn't stop drooling
Wow!!!
That cam is thumping like a mug!!!
🤔👍🏽
Haha that's awesome. It even makes the Roadrunner noise Meep Meep
That is one beautiful automobile that makes me 🤤🤤🤤🤤
THATS A MOTOR! And a CAR! John P.
Beautiful car
Beautiful ride.
Badass Roadrunner with the lift off hood.
Doesnt get any better than this
GOOD O'L AMERICAN MUSCLE💪💪AWESOME!!👏👏👍☝️
OMG this car is a MONSTER , finally someone showed a real 💪 car I also love the sound of the Road Runner horn. This is definitely a car you must keep locked up. An AK- 47 in arms reach will be good too , just in case you see that tow truck on your property at 300am.
Perfect job guys! A beautiful executed personalization of a legendary MoPar Muscle car. Bravo!
Awesome Bird. Wow thats a killer car and gorgeous Bird 👍
As we say in Massachusetts....wicked fahkin pissa Road Runnah....mopah or no cah!
Beautiful body work. Love the Steel wheels.
AWESOME ride, sounds greatttttt
Just gorgeous
Man that sounds really good especially taking off
Looks & sounds awesome.
Meep Meep!!
This is.... beyond words.
All blacked out nice.
Awesome car and restoration work! The straight body is evident at 1:23 when looking down the passenger quarter. Engine sounded great. Only thing better would have been an under hood shot you could have edited in at the end. Subscribing....
nice muscle car. looks great. sounds great too.
Sounds absolutely awesome
Bad, Bad, BAD! Beep, Beep! And Texas plates too?!? Awesome!🇨🇱🇺🇸
my roadrunner had a 383 magnum , and it was built for one thing, to be a bad mo fo, the car was clocked at 168mph in 1986, for a car that was shaped ike a brick, that was damn impressive, and i still had more top end, i ran out of road
Fox News
@Crimson Idol gearing. Gearing almost always limited top speed
I got my 1969 Road Runner to 150MPH in 1986. 440 4Spd.
@@r.r.hughes9808 I got my 72 Vega to 171mph in 1986. My Pinto was a bit faster at 176mph, but what's 5mph............
sounds beastly!
Damn that thing is sweet!
I had an old 66 Dodge Dart, four door, with a 225 slant six. That thing would take off from a dead stop like a Top. Lol, at a green light, I could pull just about anything, for about twenty feet, until the torque band flatten out. Man, if I would've known back then, I would've saved it, and slap a small turbo kit on that 225, with some airbag suspension's.
My dad had a 68 r r 383magnum a lil head work n a cam n it was a top end beast I'll never forget wen he toasted a Ford 429 cobra jet n a galexey 500 my mom was n the floorboard begging hem to slow down I remember my dad say in fuck that shit Eatin ford stay down there n shut up it registered 160 n it was pegged n still getting up that thing was all over the place it was awsome
Did you fail 3rd grade english?
give him a break man he was just telling his beautiful experience. you never understand how someone gets overly excited when they sit on this beautiful beast. ahahaha
Almost
Yeh people called them that because it sounded cooler. Plymouths was the 383 Commando.
The standard engine was exclusive to the Road Runner and was a 383ci V8 rated at 335 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque. For an extra $714, Plymouth would install a 426 Hemi rated at 425 hp.
Holy shit....
Violent muscle car best video out there
Black steel wheels black car" coolest looking car out there" 2000$ rims don't even compare!
Love them Mopars!!!
I can hear this whole day
I had a real M code 69 1/2 six pack super bee in hemi orange. My fav car. your RR looks great.mepp meep
Gill Miller
real M code...A12..probably one of the most bad ass true-to-the-meaning of "muscle car" not too expensive (unlike Corvette and other high $$ cars) nothing on it or in it that didn't make it go FAST. My V code 70 Roadrunner was the very next incarnation of the 440 6 bbl, and it gets, but the A12 Roadrunners and Super Bees laid the groundwork.
Yes... I would like an order of fries and a chocolate shake with that...thank you.
Good one....but doesn’t it go, “you want some fries with that shake”?
Chrysler spent all that money on the RR horn when the real music came from those dual exhausts. Tres Magnifique.
$50,000 paid to WB for that horn but it was worth it.
71 Plymouth. actually it was 50k for the Roadrunner cartoon character rights. The horns were sourced very cheaply from military and forklift existing stocks. BEEP BEEP
avman1339 Hahaha,That's what I meant. I hit the percent instead of the cash symbol on accident (they're right next to each other). I heard They also spent an additional: $10,000 on the horn too. How does the ''military and forklift existing stocks'' come into play on the subject of the horn?
71 Plymouth. That is where they found a horn with the sound they were looking for rather than developing one from scratch. On another note, the 335 horsepower 383 was a 383 with 440 heads and cam. My best friend had a 70 Roadrunner in 79-83 and did some shade tree mechanic upgrades to it. Solid low 13 second car on street tires that had no 1st gear traction.
avman1339 What??? No Way! So that's why people would always say that a 383 will run as hard as a 440! I've got a 70 Charger with a 383 and the 71 Plymouth that you see in the thumbnail: Satellite Sebring Daisy Duke lookalike that also has the 383 which HP was cut to 300. Wow man: I'm blown away: 383, 13 second car, with no traction in the first gear... Hahaha,my charger (as said from the previous owner and two IHRA stickers) said that it had a previous life of drag racing, and even had slicks on it before some punks came in his yards and stole them off. I can even see rub marks in the wheel wells in the rear where it appears they were rubbing... Hahahaha,Thanks For Telling Me All This Friend! You've taught me a lot of more Great Facts about Mopar!
Totally awesome 😎
I miss my 1969 Roadrunner nothing on this planet better than a MOPAR!!!
No, nothing better than a Road Runner. Road Runner #1 Mopar
amazing exhaust!
It’s so so good man. God I love it
