    I know this is a very old video, but, its one of the best toe nail tutorials I have found for short/no toenail! Can you provide update on how long it lasted if you're still active? Thanks a ton 😊
    Edited: nevermind, I read your response in other comments. 6-8 weeks of wear is fantastic!! Im definitely going to try this method

    I just can't get over the transformation! You should offer this to clients you would make a lot of self conscious people happy again! Even when they fall off you can glue them back on again or make them custom sets! Xx

    • @Denisejohn65NailEd
      @Denisejohn65NailEd  6 років тому +4

      Nail Techs in the USA can't offer this to clients without toenails . Because it is improperly using the products . The products say to not get it on skin and without toenails , all that is left is skin . I'm not aware at this time of any product that is able to legally be used on the skin . I do this to myself and show other what I do . Then they can choose to do it on themselves if they wish .

      @@Denisejohn65NailEd that's a shame! What about if you use nail guards? You could make them a custom toenail and they can glue it on at home? You did such a fantastic job you're brilliant at it xx

    Oh and this is an amazing and beautiful job. You don’t even have to be so discrete in showing your missing toenail but you did.
    In the end it looks so natural, it’s hard to believe that you ever had a missing toenail in the first place.

Acrylic doesn't stay, I've tried all yours of glue with fake nails, no use. I was really wondering if the poly gel will stick to my skin and how long it will last? Also what ask products do I need to make a nail like this? Again, mine is just skin, it does not grow anything there at all.

    I think those toenails look amazing. They are so real looking! You do a wonderful job. I am missing the toenail on one of my big toes, so I find this information to be very helpful. I don't know if I can do what you do, however, as I am not a manicurist. You do amazing work. I have been using press on nails to cover my missing toenail, but they do not last very long, so I am constantly replacing them. Is there a glue I could use to make them stay on my nail bed longer? I would appreciate any input to help out a novice. Thanks so much.

    Hi Denise, I love your videos. I was reading the comments you were having with that girl who is trained in LCN barefoot and I was wondering what your thoughts were on that. Only because I drive about an hour away just to have mine done with LCN Wilde Pedique but they never come out as good as yours do. They look alot thicker. Idk if its the nail tech or the product itself. She doesn't use dual forms so maybe thats why. So Im just wondering if you ended up trying it and what your thoughts are on it compared to polygel and acrylic. (They usually last up to 3 months on my toenail, but I have some of my nail so thats probably why) Because I am in the process of ordering items from markartt so I can try and do it myself.

    • @Denisejohn65NailEd
      @Denisejohn65NailEd  4 роки тому +2

      Well , I do have the LCN builder gel . I bought it to try . I haven’t tried it yet . But honestly , I think it is nothing special . I think it is just like any other builder gel . Builder gels are always going to be more flexible than acrylic. Acrylic is very hard and ridged . Yes , I believe your toenails lasted longer because you have some nail left . I have no toenail at all . Yes , it’s the nail tech making them thick . You can use a dual form and the LCN builder gel or any builder gel for thinner nails . You will have to do at least 2 layers with the dual form . You can also get polygel and try it and see how you like it . I love toenails with dual forms .

    I saw the thumbnail at least a dozen times before actually reading the title. It never crossed my mind even for a second that those were not real nails.

      You could call some salons and see if they do it .... otherwise you can do it yourself . You can do it !

    What’s that plastic thing you’re painting on? Do you have a link to everything you used so we can easily buy? Thanks.

      It’s called a dual form. I believe there’s a link in the description box . I do not have links to everything. I tell you everything to use in the video ...you can do a search.

    Do salons do this? If so what would I ask for! I would love to learn to do it since I’m self conscious about having to get my nails surgically removed :(

      I don’t think they do this . You could ask for a acrylic or polygel toenail and see what they say .

      Ask for acrylic on your toes. They do it.

    I don't have toe nails at all, ever since I was a child, they were removed due to an infection, and they've never grown, does this technique suit my situation too ?

    You were very brave to show this cause as you know ppl always think they know it all and like to criticise . I have bin doing nails now for about 42 yrs. and by my experiences what I can tell you is that under the condition those where i truly would use as i have before "acrylic" . Reson is that you don't need air bubbles there and it needs to have the weight of the product to help seal better so when the natural nails "DO" start growing back that extra weight will help it adhere better to it's own nail plate. I mean, you may want to try both ways. I do belea v e that perhaps gel gives you less a chance of them lifting and under the circumstances that's 👍

      Thanks ... but yeah I have been doing acrylic toenails for a long time . I started to use dual forms with acrylic . Acrylic has always wore the best for me . I even did polygel toenails . They didn’t stay as long as acrylic either . I included my toenail playlist in the video and description box too . Check it on .

      @@Denisejohn65NailEd hi Denisejohn65 I have the same toenail like you but just on the right toenail, I've been doing acrylic for a year on and off, but now I'm allergic to it, so sad cause I really thought it would be a great solution to my problem, now I'm back to wearing close shoes ☹️

    • @Denisejohn65NailEd
      @Denisejohn65NailEd  5 років тому

      Are you sure it’s the acrylic and not something else like cleansers . Dehydrates ... primers ?

    • @joangaza2750
      @joangaza2750 5 років тому

      @@Denisejohn65NailEd nope, I don't use primer, just acrylic powder and solution.. I saw some videos on UA-cam about acrylic allergies but mine is not that severe. I guess I will rest my toe for acrylic for months before trying to do it again, thanks for the reply. 😊
