If the skin is smooth it probably won’t stay on long ….
I've been fighting fungal nail infection for over 12 years. 9 out 10 nails are horrible. I spend the warmer months using breathable polish with garlic and other stuff in it, so I can hide them but they've become so painful I'd really like to have all 9 of them yanked. This gives me some hope ♥
You are brave . There’s no way I would put up with that .
There is a medicine you can take to get rid of that . You should ask your doctor about it .
Or use Tea Tree oil twice a day on your toenails .
I find that if you soak your feet on Epsom salt and warm water for 15 minutes a day. Tea tree oil and sunshine everyday it helps tons. Hope this was helpful

My daughter in law had fungus in all of her toenails, her doctor prescribed some anti fungal medication, I think she took them for at least 6 months, the fungus has gone, maybe that’s a better option than having them all removed.
yes. I'm a former EMT. there is an oral anti-fungal medication you can take! please try that first before removing your toenails!
This is a game changer. I have been using the dual forms I ordered from you and I’ve been successfully, but I’m excited to try this skin tone because I am not the best nail painter lol.

Yes , the color is great . Just remember to keep it thin when applying to the form . If you apply it too thick , the color will deepen .

You have done an amazing job! I have recently been experimenting with this as my toenails grow back after an accident. I paid a lot of money to a podiatrist to have one of the nail specific products applied and what an expensive joke it was! Terrible application which lifted so quickly. I do my own gel fingernails so really shouldn’t have bothered with the professional

I'm 43 and I've had ugly toenail since I was a little girl don't know why. But, in my teenage and early adult years I use to hide my feet. But, watching you and others I try to make them look presentable to wear open toe shoes. I'm not good with the poly gel so I use fake nail. I'm scared to have them removed because, I'm scared of needles. My big toe is friend and my others are very pinched. I use a e file to file the thickness down and polish them. But, I mainly focus on my 2 big toe. But, I want to thank you for your videos for ppl like me to see that there are ways to make your toes look nice when you want to go to the beach or wear open toe shoes
If you decide to get them removed don’t be scared . You would be laying on a recliner chair and you don’t watch what they do . Just be brave .
But yes , there are ways to make them look pretty without removing them .

Same here! I just use fake fingernails and kiss nail glue. Quick and easy only thing you can't keep them on more than 2 weeks or your skin might blister. Would love to try your method but I am able Quick and easy

Does this hurt or suffocate the nail? I gave myself a (somewhat bad) acrylic fake toenail and it woke me up in the middle of the night, so painful, impossible to remove, absolutely suffocating the nail bed. Worst pain ever and i had to soak it off while it thrummed with pain. I just want to be able to wear sandals this summer 😢
I got my nails removed a couple years back. I went to change my polish and my toe was black and purple. My toenails were weird cause they would grow straight and off the bed. I keep my nails plain now without nail polish so I don't draw attention to my feet. Take note I'm also type 1 diabetic. I will try this in hopes it looks normal lol

Hi Denise....First of all you're awesome! I have had no toenail on my left big toe for years and have stressed about it for years. I bought "everything" you said to on here (every product you suggested under this video) and have been watching your videos over and over for a long time. I have done it exactly how you said and it looks natural. The only thing is it only last for 2 days at most. I am careful and only get it wet long enough to take a shower. Any suggestions???? You said yours last between a week or even much longer. Thanks so much!!
Well , I do know that when people have a nail bed that is small and shrunk up it’s more difficult to get a nail to stay on .

Can I ask when you have to remove the big toe nail, can you put a gel nail on rite after the removal or do you have to wait a wk or so? Love your vidios 😊
An injury almost 40 years ago, developed into a life long problem. Constantly ingrown when it grew back, and eventually forming into a rams horn under the nail, high capture the nerve endings i between the horn and became extremely painful.I have been doing surgery to remove the problem on the nail myself all these years. The one option I have is having the nail removed permanently. I am simply to old to keep doing this now, but have putt off have surgery because the absence of a nail looks bad. This video gives me ope for he future, enough so that I probably WILL have the surgery. Thank us for what you do. You really should consider doing this as a profession if you are not doing it already.
Yes , I would say get the surgery . It’s better than having that unsightly nail .
Yes , there’s ways to make nice toenails after the surgery .
Once it’s healed , start wearing nails right away to keep your nail bed from shrinking .
I have bit some of my fingernails down to the cuticles and there is little to no hope of a nail growing back. I could never do acrylics because I would have terrible allergic reactions and my fingertips would blister. Is this hypoallergenic or something I could use on my fingers too?
There is really no nail products that are hypoallergenic.

I had a fungus on both big toes! I took the oral and topical meds and it stopped from spreading but nails are damaged and doesn't grow. Any suggestions? I hate them and am so embarrassed! The nail gets all lumpy and discolored! Thanks!

Well, I only do this on myself I don’t do this on clients. I know that it’s been done on people that have had some toenails .
I can’t say you won’t develop a allergy because there’s always a chance that you’ll get an allergy and you just never know it’s a chance you take.
I have toe nails but I’m successful with dual forms than other methods. I do have abnormal pinky toe nails, round, not flat.

That is a lot of UV light. It increases the chances of melanoma. Is there an alternative to I’ve light thank you
No it isn’t. With This little bit of light you would have to have your hand in there continuously for days on end to develop any cancer . It’s very minimal compared to being in the sun without protection . There is also gloves to wear if you are worried about it and no one is forcing you to use a lamp . But no , no other option with gels

Depends on what your nail bed looks like . Whether it is shrunk up or smooth or rough skin on it . Could last anywhere from 1 week to 8 weeks .

I have the samething but it's my pointer fingernail
I can’t get my poly gel toe nail to stick. It’s off in less than 24 hrs. I’ve used the primer and bond. Haven’t tried the gel base yet. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong ?
Try the gel base and be sure to cure it well . I hope you have a good lamp for curing . Don’t worry about over curing either . It can’t happen .
You can also try acrylic too . Maybe that will stay better .
Another thing is , if your nail bed has shrunk up very small , you will definitely have trouble getting any nail to stay .

If she buys some wound closure adhesive strips from Walgreens, she can tape down the free edge of the nail so it won’t move when she swims. That ways it’ll be less likely to come off. Best of luck!

Builder gels , I find don’t last as long as acrylic or polygel . I made the nail with polygel .

I think I could do this but I’d rather have a salon do it. I lost my nails due to fungus and I don’t know if a salon would be allowed to work on fungal nails. Do you know if they would?
